Came here on a quiet weekday evening. Got the risotto, it was cooked right, creamy but still had a bit of bite. Place was busy but not crazy loud. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Prices are what you'd expect for the lakeside location. The view from the garden is the real draw though. Solid spot if you're in the area and want proper local food without any fuss.

The view really is the main reason to come here. Staff were attentive without hovering, which I appreciated. Breakfast was solid, plenty of options. Dinner menu felt a bit limited if you're staying more than a couple nights, but that's a minor thing. I'd come back for the setting alone.

Came here for a quick lunch with a friend and honestly the staff made it so easy to relax. We tried a few regional dishes and they were solid, nothing crazy but well done. Service was attentive without hovering, which I appreciate. Place felt welcoming, not too loud either. Good spot if you want a chill meal.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Brioche was solid, hit the spot. Service was fast and friendly, no complaints there. Place is clean and easy to find on the main road. Parking's a bit of a pain though. Fine if you're in a hurry and just need something decent.

This restaurant not only serves delicious food but also has a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family.

We sat outside and the view of the square was nice. Food was decent, well-prepared, nothing fancy but tasty. Staff were polite, not overly attentive but fine. A relaxed spot in the city center, though the outdoor seating can get a bit noisy with foot traffic. Pretty good for a casual meal.

Loved the open kitchen setup—watching the chefs work was the best part. Just don’t sit too close to the grill, it gets pretty warm.

Stopped by for lunch on a rainy day. The old station building is pretty cool inside, modern but kept the character. Had the Rösti—crispy outside, soft inside, exactly how I like it. Menu's mostly Italian stuff, pizzas and such, but they do a solid Rösti. Prices fair for the area. Service was fine, nothing to complain about.

Been coming here for years, the porcini tagliatelle never disappoints. Owners still remember us every time. Up on Monte Brè, worth the trip just for that pasta.

The salmon tartare was solid—fresh, well seasoned, decent portion for the price. Server knew their stuff, walked us through the whole menu without rushing. Place sits right on the lake, so the view does half the work. Only hiccup was the wait for the main course, but the starter set a good tone. Would come back for a casual dinner.

The terrace view is stunning, honestly. Had the rabbit and lobster—both cooked really well. Pricey, but you're paying for the spot.

Great beer selection and the burgers are seriously good. Staff were quick even when it got busy. Starters felt a bit overpriced but the main dishes make up for it.

Great spot right on the plaza—we grabbed pasta and dessert, both solid. Service was friendly but timing felt a bit off when we showed up around 5. Slightly pricey, but good for a catch-up with friends 🙂

We have been in Lugano/Montagnola for the past ten days and this was our best meal and dinner experience. The restaurant is in a residential area and is tastefully decorated with relaxing dinner jazz playing. Everything we ordered was so good. Service was perfect.

Stopped by for a quick dinner near the center of Lugano. Pizza was okay, crust fine but kinda bland honestly. The steak tartare though, that was the real deal—well seasoned, good texture. Service was friendly and fast. Maybe stick to the tartare if you go.

The spaghetti aglio e olio was solid, garlicky and filling. The view from the table made it feel like more than just a quick lunch, though.

Five-course dinner was solid, and they made a veggie version on the fly when the menu didn’t have one. Service felt genuinely warm. Place was packed on a weekday, so book ahead.

The braised beef cheek was the standout. Fork-tender, deep flavor, exactly what I wanted. The open wines though, overpriced and just average. Stick to the food and you're fine. Michelin nod or not, that dish alone makes it worth a stop.

The cheese dessert came with a proper explanation, which I appreciated. Sat at the round table near the wine cabinet—nice spot. Service felt well-rehearsed, maybe a touch formal for my taste.

The owner came by our table to check in and that little touch made the whole night feel more personal. Food was solid, service was on point. Would happily go back 👍

Came for the Aperol Spritz and pizza—both were solid. Sat outside by the lake, which was nice, though the cars passing by did get a bit loud. Service was friendly enough. I'd go back for the view alone, honestly. Just maybe bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise.

The set menu here is a solid deal—three courses for what you'd pay for a main elsewhere in Ticino. Portions were decent too. Right by the lake, so the location does the heavy lifting.

The staff were lovely, really attentive without hovering. My pasta was solid, though the salad was nothing special. They paired a nice glass of wine with it, which made the meal better.

Came here on a whim and the vibe really got me—young crowd, music was on point. Staff didn’t hover but were there when you needed them. Drinks came out fast, which I appreciated. Not a mind-blowing spot, but solid for a casual night out. Maybe a bit loud if you want deep conversation, but I’d go again.

Stopped here after getting off the train—so convenient. I had the polenta dish and honestly, the texture was spot on. You can tell they use good ingredients, nothing overly complicated. Prices felt fair for the quality. Service was friendly, not hovering. A solid spot if you're in the area and want something simple and fresh.

The tagliata here was honestly the best I've had in a long time. Cooked perfectly, still pink inside, and the seasoning was just right. I went for lunch on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. Only thing is the portions are a bit small for the price, but the flavour made up for it.

Solid lunch spot off the main streets. Mostly locals, which says enough. Had the Plat du Jour — decent portion, no complaints. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Prices fair for what you get. Wouldn't cross town for it, but if you're nearby, it's a safe bet.

Lovely little courtyard tucked away near the station. We sat outside and it was peaceful enough to actually talk. Octopus and potato salad was a solid portion, not stingy at all. Fair for what you get.

The grilled octopus was the standout — tender, smoky, not rubbery at all. Wine list is solid too. Place gets busy but the noise stays bearable. Nothing fancy, just a dependable spot for a casual dinner.
