The Sunday roast was spot on, proper Yorkshire puddings and all. Pub itself has that cosy, old-world feel.

Been coming here for years, and their green curry is always spot on. Same rich flavour, just the right amount of heat. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, plus they welcome dogs. Good spot for a drink after a walk.

Booked on a whim for a treat and it was a fine evening. The portions were just right for a comfortable three-course meal. Service was attentive, though the pacing between courses felt a touch slow at one point.

Stopped by after visiting the abbey. The vibe was comfortable and the staff were lovely. Perfect for winding down.

The staff were really helpful when I asked to tweak my order. Food came out piping hot, and the price was fair.

Staff were really nice and helpful. Made it feel like a chill spot to hang out. Food took a bit long, but they were apologetic about it.

The White Horse offers an amazing dining experience with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is wonderful, and I highly recommend the chorizo prawn pappardelle for its delicious flavor and perfect spice kick!

Been coming here for years, and the real ales are always spot on. Properly kept, never a bad pint. That’s why I keep coming back. The rest is good, but it’s the ale that’s reliable.

Been coming here for years, and the curry is always spot on. It's the main reason I keep coming back.

This is one of the best places in Eastbourne. The food is great and the atmosphere, the service is impeccable. Wherever we are in Eastbourne, we always have a meal of two there.

The full English breakfast was solid, really liked the local sausages. Just a heads up, it's not included with the room, which was a bit of a surprise. The dining area itself is lovely though, bright and airy.

Had a latte and a toasted teacake here. Both were pretty good. It's a cozy spot, perfect for sitting with a coffee when it's raining outside. The teacake could have been a bit warmer, but it was still fine.

Scampi and chips were spot on. Asked for extra crispy, and they nailed it. Perfect crunch. Service was friendly too. Will definitely come back when I'm around.

The lamb shank was the star. Cooked for hours, the meat fell off the bone effortlessly. The jus had a deep, rich flavour that paired perfectly with the creamy mash underneath. A really solid, hearty dish.

Breakfast looked great on the plate, and the coffee was spot on. Everything was made with care. My only note is the portions felt a bit small for the price, I finished it all a little too quickly.

The vegan lasagna was the standout. Really rich tomato sauce, and the cashew "ricotta" had a nice texture. My daughter's dairy-free pasta was a hit too. Plenty of options for dietary needs.

A proper British pub. The real ales are well-kept, which I appreciate. I was really pleased to see a few lighter, lower-ABV options on the board – it’s nice to have a choice that fits with a mindful approach. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, just what you’d hope for.

Service was super friendly, and they have a nice wine list that pairs well with the vegan options. Food's fresh and tasty.

I went for their lunch set - a starter and a main. The salad was crisp, and the grilled chicken was tender. It's nice to see fresh ingredients at that price point.

Been coming here for years. Sam always remembers my usual drink, which is a nice touch. Service feels personal, not just going through the motions. That's what keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years. Their fruit scones are always warm and fluffy. The homemade jam is spot on. A proper treat with a cuppa.

Came here for the first time and really enjoyed the pork belly. The welcome cocktail was a nice surprise. Service was attentive without being overbearing.

The butter chicken was spot on, and the portions are definitely generous. Good value.

Been coming here for years. The laksa broth is the reason - it's always rich and spicy, just like I remember it from my first visit. A bit pricier now, but that flavour is consistent. My go-to comfort food spot.

Been coming here for years. Their cream tea is always spot on, just what you need after a stroll.

Solid pub food. The fish and chips were pretty good, and the homemade fish cakes were a nice touch. We enjoyed everything we ordered. It’s a decent spot for a casual meal.

I had a fantastic meal with my friends, and the staff were incredibly attentive. The skewers I ordered were cooked to perfection!
