The outdoor seating area is really pleasant on a summer evening. They stay open late on weekends, which is a plus. Good selection of real ales and ciders to enjoy out there.

Service was quick and friendly, even with special requests.

Quick lunch spot. Food came fast and tasted good. Nice that they have seating upstairs too.

The chef's special noodle soup was so fresh and full of flavour. The pork was tender and the broth had a lovely depth to it.

Lovely sunny spot outside. Greek salad was crisp. Hummus and pita tasted homemade. Carafe of house wine hit the spot. Dog friendly is a plus.

The poppadoms were crisp and warm, served with three different dips. The mint chutney was particularly sharp and fresh, cut through the richness of the main curry nicely. Portions are definitely generous.

Been coming here for years and the poppadums are always spot on. Love the little pots of chutney and raita they bring out with them. The onion bhajis are a nice touch too, especially with those pomegranate seeds on top.

Staff are genuinely friendly, always smiling. Lunch menu is solid quality, especially the pasta special today. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Would pop in again.

The outdoor seating area is charming, and the inside is very comfortable. Prices are reasonable for the location, right next to Hove Station.

Been a few years since my last visit. The kids' menu is solid, and the staff were attentive without being overbearing. Food was consistent. A reliable spot for a family dinner.

Bottomless brunch on a Saturday, and it was packed. Still, the service was really attentive – they kept the drinks topped up without us having to ask. Food was solid, too. Good spot for a busy weekend.

The festive menu was lovely, but I really appreciated the fresh, seasonal ingredients in my salad. Made it feel like a healthy choice amidst the holiday indulgence.

Been coming here for years, and the food's always been spot on. That's what keeps me coming back.

Had a lovely Mother's Day lunch here. Everything came out fresh and piping hot. Sammie took great care of us. The atmosphere was just right for the occasion.

Been coming here for years. It's always spotless and quiet, just how I like it. Perfect for a low-key dinner when you don't want any fuss.

Lovely spot downstairs, really cozy. The menu is clear and has all the classics. I went for the grilled salmon salad—the fish was so fresh and flaky, and the greens were crisp. Just what I was hoping for on a quiet evening.

Been coming here for years, and the vibe is always spot on. It's that cozy, low-key bistro feel that just lets you unwind. Never feels rushed, even on a busy Friday. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

The seafood spaghetti was the star for me. The pasta was cooked just right, and there was loads of fresh seafood in there. A solid tiramisu to finish things off.

Great little spot for a drink and a bite. The bar food was spot on - the burger was juicy, perfect with a local IPA. Staff were friendly and helpful. The place has a nice, cozy feel to it, feels like a proper old pub. A solid choice.

Solid local chippy. The cod was fresh, batter had a good crisp. Chips were spot on - crispy outside, fluffy inside. Decent portions. Staff were polite and helpful.

A really lovely Sunday lunch. The roast was spot on, and the menu had some nice choices. Felt like a good deal for what you get.

Great pint in the garden. Holly was a top host. Quick, easy spot for a drink.

Booked a garden cabana for a group. The roast dinners were solid, but those 'pigs in duvets' stole the show – massive! Staff were on it, Hannah was lovely. A bit pricey, but a nice spot for a get-together.

Stopped in for a couple drinks. The staff were really friendly, no complaints there. The fireplace area was a nice spot to relax. Noticed they have a Thai kitchen attached, which seems handy if you get hungry.

Really liked the vibe here. The seats are comfy, and the background music is just right. Feels like a proper, friendly local pub. A nice, relaxed spot for a quiet meal.

Been coming here for years and the sticky toffee pudding is always spot on. That's why I keep coming back.
