Been coming here for years to catch the game. It's always busy, good crowd. The screens are decent, sound's clear. Gets a bit loud when the home team scores, but that's part of it. A solid local for sports.

First time in, the guy taking orders was dead friendly. Had the pork pie with Stilton - massive portion for the money, and the bread that came with it was spot on. My salad had that same nice bread too. They even gave our dog a little treat. Staff were all lovely, proper old-school service.

The buffet for our event was a decent option. The sandwiches were nicely presented and tasted pretty good. It was a practical choice for a group lunch, though the selection could have been a bit broader.

Lovely cream tea. The scones were warm, and the clotted cream tasted so fresh. The mismatched china was a nice touch, made it feel cosy. A good spot for a quiet afternoon.

Battered haddock and chips for a quick lunch. Fish was perfectly cooked, batter stayed crispy. Came out piping hot which was great. Portion was decent for the price. Solid choice when you're in a hurry.

Lovely spot with a cosy interior and a nice terrace. Went for the club sandwich and the daily quiche. The quiche was spot on, really fresh and tasty. The sandwich was good, but the bread was a touch dry for my liking.

A decent Wetherspoon's with a proper pub feel. I like the booths and the fireplace. Food is straightforward but arrives hot, service is friendly. It does get very busy on match days though, so timing is key if you want a booth.

The roast beef was exactly what I wanted. Tender, with a rich gravy that had depth. The Yorkshire pudding was light and crisp. Just a solid, comforting plate of food.

The bartender was a real pro when my friend felt unwell. Calm, discreet, and knew exactly what to do. Service like that, especially with a good wine list to back it up, makes all the difference. Really solid.

Lovely spot by the river. The view was really nice and made for a relaxed lunch. A bit on the pricier side for what you get, but the setting is hard to beat.

Mixed grill platter is massive, perfect for sharing. Lamb kebabs were the highlight, really tasty. Got it for a quick lunch, they got it out fast. Good portion for the price.

A reliable spot for a casual meal and drinks. The food is standard pub fare, but it's consistently decent and the prices are very reasonable. I like that the booths are comfortable and spaced out, makes it easy to just relax.

Carter was so helpful with the wine list! He suggested a great bottle that went perfectly with our meal. Really made the evening feel relaxed and fun for our little group.

Been coming here for years. The set Canton meal is consistently good, and they're always happy to swap the chicken for teriyaki.

Stumbled upon this Greek cafe. The food was really good, and the staff were so helpful.

Lovely spot for a coffee and a slice of their homemade cake. The staff are really friendly, which makes it a relaxing visit.

The small plates are a tasty complement, and I appreciate that the ingredients taste so fresh.

The carvery roasts were generous and lovely, even with the limited Mother's Day menu. The manager's choice of a full-bodied red to pair with it was spot on.

A solid local for a quick bite. The app ordering is handy, no fuss. Food came out fast and the prices are fair. I was hoping for a more interesting beer selection to go with the fish and chips, but the lager was fine. Good for what it is.

A cute spot for a coffee break. The scone I had was warm and crumbly, just the way I like it. Prices are fair, and they're cool with dogs - my spaniel got a little water bowl.
