The fish pie was lovely but honestly the portion was on the smaller side for the price. Tasty enough that I'd probably come back, just maybe order a starter too next time.

Stopped in for a coffee and ended up grabbing a slice of the homemade cake—honestly, that was the best part. Coffee was grand, nothing fancy, but the cake alone makes it worth popping in. Portion was decent for the price too, which you don't always get these days. Staff were sound, didn't rush me at all.

Stopped by for a late afternoon treat. Got the Black Forest pavlova gelato — decent size scoop for the price, not one of those tiny portions you sometimes get. They also whipped up a custom smoothie when I asked, no fuss. Place is small but fine. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're nearby it does the job.

Sandwiches are decent and the coffee’s actually hot, which you don’t always get. Portion size was fair for the price. Gets busy but they keep the line moving.

Lovely spot for coffee—the lemon drizzle cake was proper good, not too sweet. Window seat has a nice view too. Wouldn’t mind going back.

Best coffee we found in Europe so far. Place was absolutely rammed when we popped in, but the flat white was worth the squeeze. Proper little gem.

The staff actually went out of their way for me—even printed out my train timetable. That kind of personal touch really stands out.

Pasta and burgers were solid, cocktails hit the spot too. Staff were sound. Bit busy when we went but that's on us for showing up late.

We came in with a big group, kids and all, and they didn't mess up the orders. Food came out steady, no long gaps between courses. I had the burger, it was decent. The brownie with ice cream for dessert was the highlight though. Service was spot on for a busy Saturday. Place was a bit loud, but that's on us for bringing the whole clan.

Lovely little spot for a quick bite. The toasties are class and the desserts really caught me off guard. Prices are fair for what you get.

Stopped in for a quick lunch last week. Samosas were solid, crispy and not greasy. Had the biryani too, cashews in it were fresh, nice touch. I've eaten Indian food in London and Dublin plenty, this is up there with the better ones. Service was quick, no fuss. Place is a bit tight for seating but fine if you're not in a rush.

Cozy little spot. Staff actually paid attention, not just going through the motions. They sorted a proper fried egg for the kid without us asking, which was a nice touch. Food was solid, nothing wild, but the service carried it. Wouldn't mind going back if we're in the area again.

The king prawns in hot garlic sauce are unreal — best I've had anywhere. Curries are solid too, loads of flavour. Takeaway was just as good as eating in.

I was impressed by the quick service and the quality of the food at Driftwood. The tuna steak and fish and chips were standout dishes, and the desserts, while good, were served on hilariously large plates!

Popped in on a busy Saturday without booking and somehow got a table. Pizza was solid—thin crust, not too doughy. But honestly the salmon teriyaki stole it for me. Really nicely done. Service kept it simple and friendly. Wouldn’t mind going back if I’m in the area again.

Decent spot for a coffee and a scone. Prices are fair, and they've a good selection of homemade bakes. Coffee was pretty good, though the pastries can be a bit hit or miss when it's busy. Still, a solid enough stop if you're in the area.

Tried the afternoon tea last week. Scones were lovely, proper warm and buttery. Sandwiches fine, nothing special. Cakes fell a bit flat though, a bit dry for my liking. The dinner menu does look better, might give that a go next time.
