Perfect for a group get-together! The private upstairs room has its own projector, and the staff were super helpful sorting the setup beforehand.

The poppadoms were crisp and warm, served with three different dips. The mint chutney was particularly sharp and fresh, cut through the richness of the main curry nicely. Portions are definitely generous.

Been coming here for years and the poppadums are always spot on. Love the little pots of chutney and raita they bring out with them. The onion bhajis are a nice touch too, especially with those pomegranate seeds on top.

Staff are genuinely friendly, always smiling. Lunch menu is solid quality, especially the pasta special today. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Would pop in again.

The outdoor seating area is charming, and the inside is very comfortable. Prices are reasonable for the location, right next to Hove Station.

Been a few years since my last visit. The kids' menu is solid, and the staff were attentive without being overbearing. Food was consistent. A reliable spot for a family dinner.

Staff event here, did the escape room then ate downstairs. Made it easy to organise. The food portions were huge, which was a nice surprise. Team was friendly and helpful all evening.

Nice and spacious, good tunes playing. Staff were friendly. Just a comfortable spot to grab a drink and relax for a bit.

Bottomless brunch on a Saturday, and it was packed. Still, the service was really attentive – they kept the drinks topped up without us having to ask. Food was solid, too. Good spot for a busy weekend.

Birthday dinner here. The staff were lovely, Cassandra and Vicky were great. Food was good. But honestly, for the price, the portions were a bit on the small side. Left feeling like I needed a snack later.

Loved the cosy vibe here. The stone walls and open fire gave it such a warm, old-school pub feel. Perfect for a chilly evening.

A nice spot for a break. The Fuller's and guest beers are good, but I'd love to see more low-alcohol or alcohol-free options on the menu.

Our server was really on it tonight. Noticed my water glass was getting low before I did, and had a friendly chat about the specials. That kind of attention makes a difference.

The milkshake menu is huge, I spent ages just reading it! Went for a classic strawberry, it was thick and creamy. The staff were really friendly when I couldn't decide. Nice spot for a sweet treat.

The spicy nutty chicken had a proper kick and great flavour. Staff were quick to bring the lime pickle, really friendly too.

Sunday roast was solid. Meat was tender, gravy had good flavour. The cauliflower cheese stood out, really well done. Service was efficient, no fuss. Good option for a straightforward Sunday lunch.

Jacob was a top server, really on it and friendly. The food hit the spot. I was hoping to pair the spicy nduja doughballs with a bold red, but a couple of them were missing the sausage filling. Still, a solid meal.

Been coming here for years, and the sandwiches are always spot on. That's the main thing for me – you know exactly what you're getting. The tuna melt is my go-to, never disappoints. Just a reliable, solid lunch spot.

Chicken tikka masala was the highlight. The sauce had a nice depth, creamy but not heavy. Staff were friendly, didn't feel rushed even though it was a quick dinner stop. Good portion for the price.

Been coming here for years, and the full English is always spot on. It's the reason I keep coming back.

The brie and cranberry toastie was lovely. The building's history with the cathedral gives it a nice feel.

I highly recommend the afternoon tea at this restaurant. The selection of sandwiches, scones, and petit fours was delightful, and the service was impeccable.

Breakfast was solid, but dinner felt a bit pricey. Their wine list had some nice options for the evening menu, though.

Been getting takeaway from them since day one. Love the menu - curries, kebabs, burgers, all in one spot. The lamb shank curry is my usual, so tender it just falls apart. A bit pricier than some places, but it's my go-to.

It was a relaxed, fun evening, made special by engaging staff. Even though they were understaffed, they made the best of the situation and provided excellent customer service.

Lovely spot for a birthday dinner. The Badger Brewery ale was a real treat, and the staff were just so nice. Felt very taken care of.

Reliable spot for a quick bite. Their chicken tikka masala hits the spot every time. Good for when you're in a rush. The pool table's a nice touch if you've got a minute to spare.

The Jewel on the Crown curry was really nice. Good mix of coconut and mango, and the naan was spot on for dipping.

Friendly staff, no doubt. But the real star was their in-house kebab. The texture was spot on. Paired it with a surprisingly decent house red they suggested. That combo just worked. A bit on the pricier side, but you taste the difference.
