Been coming here for years and the sticky toffee pudding is always spot on. That's why I keep coming back.

Came here for dinner and really liked the vibe. The exposed brick and warm lighting make it feel cosy, not stuffy. Tables are well-spaced so you're not on top of other diners. It does get a bit loud later on, but that's just the energy of the place.

They handled our big group without a fuss. The kids' corner was a lifesaver, letting us actually finish a meal. Food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but everyone got fed.

Lovely local pub, perfect for catching up with friends. The staff are super friendly and service was quick. We had the chicken sandwich, really tasty! Great vibe for a casual hangout.

Tried the Sunday roast for the first time. That beef just fell apart, honestly. The spot by the water was lovely for a lazy afternoon, lots of space outside.

Busy Tuesday night but they squeezed us in. The menu's huge, had a hard time choosing! Went for the lamb shank, fell right off the bone. Good spot for a spontaneous dinner.

Popped in for a quick bite, got the ostrich silsia. The cheese naan was a great call with it. Nice little spot for something different.

Sat outside on a sunny afternoon, perfect for people-watching. The beer selection is the real draw here – tried a local pale ale that paired nicely with the fish and chips. A solid choice for a casual pint.

Love that you can do half-and-half pizzas. The dough balls are a must, so fluffy and warm. Service is always on it. Just wish the dining room felt a bit cosier, the lighting's a bit stark.

Friendly staff and a menu with plenty of options. I went for the truffle pasta and it was spot on – really rich flavour. The place was packed, which says a lot. Portions are generous for the price, too.

The chicken curry was spot on, really flavourful. But the best bit was the atmosphere – it's got this relaxed, cosy vibe that just makes you want to stay and chat. The lighting is nice and soft, not too bright.

Maddy was so attentive, she seemed to know what we needed before we did. Just the right amount of check-ins, never intrusive. The whole evening felt really smooth because of it.

Love that they have events on most nights, makes it feel like a proper local spot. We went for the Sunday menu from Leona's Kitchen and it was so good. Perfect for catching up with friends.

The parsnip soup was authentic, but a bit thin for my taste. Had it with a glass of their house white, which was a decent pairing. The vibe in the place is nice, though.

Been coming here for years, the food never disappoints. The staff are genuinely friendly and always have a good suggestion when I can't decide. It's just a really nice, reliable spot.

The staff were so friendly with our big group. They really took care of my friend's gluten-free request without any fuss. Made the whole dinner feel relaxed.

Came here with friends after a hike. The vanilla shake was so good, and the burgers were tasty. Perfect for a casual catch-up.

I had a fantastic experience with the food here, especially the traditional fish and chips. It was well-prepared and the fish tasted incredibly fresh.

Love the vibe in this old pub! Perfect for catching up with friends over a pint. The staff are super friendly, which really makes you feel welcome. The home-cooked food is solid, too. Just a really nice, relaxed spot.

A family-run spot, nice personal touch. They handled my gluten-free request without any fuss. The afternoon tea looked lovely, and tasted pretty good. A decent experience overall.

Came here for a lazy Sunday brunch with my uni mates. The breakfast stack was so good we ordered another one to share! The vibe is really warm and cosy, perfect for a long catch-up. Just a heads up, it got a bit loud later on.

The portions here are pretty generous, and everything tasted fresh. It's a reliable spot for a decent meal. The service was a bit slow, but nothing major.

The kids' menu is actually decent, which is a nice surprise. My little one had the pasta with tomato sauce and ate most of it. Makes a family meal out a bit less stressful.

Fantastic piping hot fresh fish and chips served by Sophie our waitress she is such a great asset to an already fantastic restaurant . All the Gold stars from me .

Been coming here for years. The festive roast is always spot on, and that apple crumble... just hits the same every time. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

The cocktails are really well made. Bar staff were patient even when it was packed.

The lamb biryani here is the real deal. The rice is perfectly spiced, not just hot but actually flavourful. The meat was tender, fell apart easily. Could eat this every week.
