The coffee's good, but the real star was the wine list - a surprisingly thoughtful selection for a casual spot. The upstairs space is lovely, just a bit loud for calls.

The owner was really nice to our kids. They brought them some crayons and paper without us even asking. Made the whole dinner a lot easier for us.

A nice little spot for Keane fans. The cafe from the music video is a fun bit of nostalgia. They've got some band photos up inside, which is a decent touch. The coffee was fine, nothing too special.

Stopped by for a coffee. The garden area is really clean and bright, nice spot to sit. They even had blankets on the chairs which was a thoughtful touch. Cappuccino was good, staff were friendly.

Been coming here for years. It’s my go-to for a solid breakfast before grabbing a pint. The sausage bap is always spot on, and the beer list keeps me coming back. Simple, reliable, just how I like it.

Afternoon tea was a treat. The sausage rolls were the standout - clearly homemade, flaky pastry and well-seasoned filling. Sandwiches and scones were solid. A nice, leisurely way to spend an afternoon.

Great spot for a quick bite. Service was friendly and fast, perfect for a short lunch break. The casual vibe is nice for watching the street. Food came out quickly, which I really appreciate.

The bacon and egg sandwich was good, bacon crisp and yolk runny. But for £8.50, the portion felt a bit small. I was still a little hungry afterwards.

Been coming here for years. Ethan always takes a moment to chat, even on his break. That personal touch keeps me coming back.

The burger was good, but waiting 12 minutes in the car for just one burger felt like a bit much.

Stopped in for a quick business lunch. The prawn and avocado salad was fresh and well-portioned. Staff were efficient and corrected an order mix-up promptly. Good spot for a quiet, productive meeting.

Chicken Caesar salad box for lunch. Grilled chicken was decent, bacon and haloumi added good texture. Filling enough for a quick meal between meetings. Portion was fair for the price.

Prices were fair for the portions. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was a standout, really bright and not too sweet. My only gripe was the burger patty was a bit overdone for my liking.

Been coming here for years. Their cheese and bacon turnover is the real deal – flaky pastry, good quality bacon. Always bring the dog, staff are fine with it. A solid local spot.

A nice local spot for a catch-up. I appreciate that they clearly mark the gluten-free and dairy-free options on the menu. Had the avocado toast with poached eggs—the eggs were perfectly runny and the avocado was fresh and creamy. The coffee is decent too. A reliable choice for a simple, healthy bite.

Staff were really kind and helpful. Had a minor issue and someone went out of their way to sort it for me. Appreciated that a lot. Quick, no-fuss help when you need it.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole evening feel very relaxed. They even brought a few little extras for the kids without us asking, which was a really nice touch. Just a very comfortable, easy meal.

Loved stopping here with my pup. They're so welcoming to dogs inside, which is a nice change. Even had a little treat for him. Made our walk way better.

Large group, no problem. Staff handled it smoothly. Felt welcome from the start. Efficient service.

Been coming here for years, and the staff are always so kind. They even washed my kid's dropped fork without a fuss.

Been coming here for years whenever I'm in town. Had the full English breakfast this morning - proper sausages, eggs done just right. Popped back in the afternoon for a pint. Staff are always dead sound.

Been a regular here for ages. They're always so consistent. The welcome is genuinely warm. Had a little spill last time and the staff handled it brilliantly, no fuss at all.

The jacket potato was huge! Loaded with cheese and beans, and under £8. I was pretty happy with that.

Friendly staff and solid coffee. Just popped in for a flat white and a croissant – both hit the spot. It’s become my go-to in Brighton and Hove when I’m just wandering around.

A solid spot for a casual bite. The all-day breakfast is the highlight - eggs were spot on, bacon crispy, and the portion is generous for the price. It does get quite busy in that small space, so timing is everything. Staff were lovely and quick.

Best coffee in Hove. Rich flavour. Owner's friendly, makes you feel at home. That's it really.

The owners really know their stuff, especially when it comes to the wine list. They suggested a glass that paired perfectly with my pasta. Always a warm, genuine vibe here. It's just a nice spot that makes you feel good.
