The BBQ pork baguette is a solid quick bite. Good portion, comes with nachos. Got it in under 10 minutes, perfect for a lunch break.

Got a table without a booking, but yeah, book ahead. Downstairs was nice and quiet. Staff were quick and attentive even though it was packed upstairs. Food came out fast, which was perfect for a quick lunch.

Came for lunch, got the G&T. The raspberries in it were a nice touch, presentation was spot on. The drink itself was sharp and refreshing, just what you want. Food was decent too.

The allergen folder made ordering so easy, and our server double-checked everything for me. Really appreciated that.

Breakfast runs until midday, which is handy. The cooked breakfast is solid. Sausages and bacon are good quality, not greasy. Pancakes are the popular choice here, fluffy and not too sweet.

Been a few years since my last visit. The kids' menu is solid, and the staff were attentive without being overbearing. Food was consistent. A reliable spot for a family dinner.

Birthday dinner here. The staff were lovely, Cassandra and Vicky were great. Food was good. But honestly, for the price, the portions were a bit on the small side. Left feeling like I needed a snack later.

The milkshake menu is huge, I spent ages just reading it! Went for a classic strawberry, it was thick and creamy. The staff were really friendly when I couldn't decide. Nice spot for a sweet treat.

Lovely spot right on the beach. Had a late lunch here on a sunny Saturday, the view is really something. My fish and chips were decent, though the chips were a touch under-seasoned for my taste. Still, hard to beat that location.

The veggie breakfast was so fresh. You could tell the ingredients were just prepped, and it was a really nice portion. Coffee was smooth, not bitter at all. A good, healthy start to the day.

The veggie biryani here is the real deal. Basmati rice is perfectly separate, not mushy at all. The whole spices are fragrant, and the potatoes have a nice bite to them. Samosas are crispy and well-seasoned. Food is always served hot, which is a big plus for me.

Came here for a birthday brunch with the girls. The space is huge, so we didn't feel packed in at all. Ended up in the karaoke booth after our mimosas – such a fun idea for a group!

The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. It was a calm spot to unwind after a long trip.

Breakfast wrap was decent, good portion. Tea selection is extensive, cakes looked fresh. Service was prompt, which I appreciate on a workday morning. Convenient location near the station.

Pastries, cakes, bread. All fresh. The selection is huge, honestly too good. Spent ages just staring at the counter. Ended up with a pain au chocolat and a croissant. Couldn't pick just one.

The owners are this really sweet Japanese couple. They surprised me with a matcha and strawberry cake for my birthday – it was so thoughtful! The matcha flavour was spot on, not too sweet. Just a really nice touch to the meal.

The steak and ale pie was the standout. Rich, dark gravy, tender beef that fell apart, and a proper flaky pastry top. The mash was creamy, not lumpy. That's the kind of pub food you come back for.

The staff were really helpful when I asked to tweak my order. Food came out piping hot, and the price was fair.

Reliable spot. Food's decent, prices are fair. Staff are friendly, place is always spotlessly clean. Just a solid, no-fuss meal.

Had a latte and a toasted teacake here. Both were pretty good. It's a cozy spot, perfect for sitting with a coffee when it's raining outside. The teacake could have been a bit warmer, but it was still fine.

Breakfast looked great on the plate, and the coffee was spot on. Everything was made with care. My only note is the portions felt a bit small for the price, I finished it all a little too quickly.

Service was super friendly, and they have a nice wine list that pairs well with the vegan options. Food's fresh and tasty.

Curries were fragrant and clearly made fresh. Quality is solid. Good spot for a quick, reliable lunch near the office. Portion was decent for the price. Service was efficient.

The set menu is such a steal! The French onion soup was so rich and the duck liver parfait portion was huge. Perfect for sharing with a friend before a night out.

Perfect for a quick bite. Got the blueberry pancakes and a cortado. Pancakes were fluffy, coffee strong. Bar staff were friendly and quick. Just what I needed on a busy day.

The Reuben is the one to get here. Properly messy, the corned beef is stacked high and the sauerkraut has that sharp tang. Swiss cheese melted right through. It’s a big sandwich, fills you up. Solid choice.

A nice, classic spot. The staff were friendly and helpful with my dietary request. The homemade cakes looked good - I tried the apple pie, which was pretty decent. A solid choice for a relaxed coffee.

Colourful little spot down on the lower promenade. Really laid-back. The vegan bacon breakfast sandwich was the standout, with those crispy hash browns. Coffee's just right, too.
