Been meaning to try this place for ages. Finally went for the Sunday roast everyone talks about. The beef was so tender, just fell apart. Gravy was spot on. A bit of a wait for a table, but worth it for that plate.

The kids' menu is a good deal, includes a drink. You can tell everything's cooked fresh, it just tastes better. Nice to see a place that doesn't just serve frozen nuggets.

Food was tasty, service was quick. Exactly what I was after. The place itself is a bit dated, furniture could do with a refresh. But for the price, it's a decent spot.

Lovely outdoor space, really spacious. Perfect for a relaxed drink after a walk. The sun was out, so we grabbed a table outside. Just what we needed.

A proper old-school pub, lots of space on different floors and a decent beer garden. The Guinness is spot on, poured perfectly. The staff know their stuff, especially about the ales. A solid pint in a classic setting.

Great spot for a private party, the staff really know what they're doing.

Great spot for a private party. Darren and Cathy handled everything perfectly, the bar never slowed down.

Brought our own birthday cake, they didn't charge a cutting fee or anything. That's a nice touch you don't always get. The main was a bit pricier than expected, but saving on the cake helped balance it out.

Been ordering their takeaway pizza for years now. It's always fresh, the toppings are generous and exactly what you ask for. That consistency is why I keep coming back.

The fish was so fresh, and the chips came out piping hot. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. Just how they should be. A solid classic done right.

The staff were really helpful when we were deciding how many dishes to order. Made for a nice, relaxed evening.

Great spot for a quick bite. Their seeded sourdough is my go-to. Grab it to go, perfect for a fast lunch. The almond croissant is also solid. Good vegan choices too. Gets the job done.

The vegan menu here is really well thought out. I had the Vegan Padana pizza - the crust was crisp and the toppings fresh. It’s a nice, mild option. Service kept up even on a busy night.

Love that it’s a proper wine shop but you can also grab a bite. We shared a few small plates and the charcuterie board was spot on. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends, really relaxed vibe.

Food was excellent, and the wine list had some really thoughtful pairings. Staff were friendly too.

Classic fish and chips. A short walk from the seafront, so we grabbed takeaway and ate by the promenade. The batter was crispy, not greasy. Haddock was fresh. Solid.

Great spot to kill some time before a flight. The layout is really well thought out, plenty of space and not too crowded. The view of the planes taking off is a nice bonus.

Friendly staff, always. They make the place feel relaxed. Good spot to unwind, decent beers on tap. Nothing fancy, just a solid local vibe.

Friendly staff, Sophie at the bar was great. But honestly, the cask ales are a bit pricey for the size you get. I love a good pint, but the portion felt a little small for what you pay.

The lunchtime thali is a real treat. Each little dish had its own lovely aroma, and the peshwari naan was so fresh and warm. Really good value for the money.

Been coming here for years. They always have a good range of real ales and ciders on. Staff know their stuff, will let you try a sip if you're unsure. That's what keeps me coming back.

The service was really efficient for our big group. All the dishes came out at the same time and quite fast, which was nice. Food was decent, though the pasta could have been a bit warmer.

Their chicken tikka masala is my go-to for a quick lunch. Full of flavour, just the right spice. Always ready fast when I'm in a rush. The Naga achari is great too. Perfect for a quick, satisfying bite.
