Been coming here for a while now, and the food stays consistent. That's honestly why I keep returning. Had the waffle with fresh strawberries this time—looked great, tasted even better. Skipped it last visit, so glad I didn't this round. Place gets busy around noon, but it's worth the wait. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Pricey for sure, but the beer list is really something else. Food was solid, just wish the portions were a bit bigger for what you pay.

Stumbled in here without a plan and left happy. The food was solid, well-prepared. Only thing is the upstairs seating is a bit steep, so watch your step.

Big portions and the fried rice with fried chicken really hit the spot. Owner was super friendly too. Solid pick if you're in Ghent and hungry. 😊

The owners are the ones cooking and serving, and you can tell they actually care. Set menu’s got decent flexibility, not too rigid. Wine by the glass was well picked too. Place isn’t fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. Solid spot if you’re in the area and want a straightforward meal without the fuss.

We stopped in for dinner and I gotta say, the food was fresh, no complaints there. But what really got me was the wine list – nice little selection, and our server actually knew how to pair things. That made the meal for me. Place was pretty relaxed too. Only thing, menu’s only in Dutch, so ask for help if you need it.

Came for the waterzooi and honestly it hit the spot. Creamy, rich, proper comfort food. We sat near the window and it was chill enough to actually talk without shouting. Service was friendly, not pushy. Only thing—took a bit to get the bill, but we weren't in a rush anyway. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

Stumbled into this place while wandering away from the tourist crowds in Ghent. The sourdough is homemade and honestly the antipasti platter was the highlight. Owners are super friendly, felt like being at someone's house. Just wish the bread came with a bit more olive oil.

Solid Belgian spot. Fish stew and beef stew were both good, fries were a letdown though. Service was quick, location's hard to beat.

Solid vegan junk food fix. The Korean crispy chicken tenders actually hit the spot, even for someone who usually skips mock meats.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the stew plus the Thai curry. Both had decent flavor, curry was the better pick. Ribs came out a little dry though. Place is dog-friendly and the terrace was nice, got a bit busy around noon. Fine spot if you're in the area.

The duck breast was cooked really well, and the beef stew hit the spot. Good spot to bring visitors for local dishes. Fried chicken was a bit dry, but I'd still go back.

The tapas were solid and the wine list had good options by the glass. Staff were friendly enough. It's a bit tucked away from the main streets, but that's fine.

The Gentse waterzooi was really fresh, not heavy at all. Cozy spot, felt like a home kitchen. Portion was decent for the price.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and honestly the meat was the highlight. Charcoal taste came through just right, no need for any fancy sauce. Had the grilled potatoes with herb butter on the side, pretty solid. Place gets busy so don't expect instant seating. Fine for what it is.

The scallops were outstanding—easily the best I’ve had in a while. The wine list had a nice local touch that paired well with the steak. Location’s handy, just off the main drag.

Tried this place for the first time and honestly the chicken choila really stood out. Smoky, spicy, proper Nepali style. Momos were good too, juicy and soft. I ordered the mix starter platter just to taste a few things and the pakoras were the highlight for me. Nothing fancy about the place but the food did the talking.

The veggie burger really hit the spot—nice to find a solid plant-based option. Even with the lunch crowd, I got my food fast.

The risotto alone is worth the visit. Staff knew their beer pairings well. Prices are fair for what you get.

Stopped by for a beer between museums. Solid selection, terrace was nice. Not much else to say. Good enough for a quick break.

Stoofvlees was decent, sauce wasn’t quite my thing. Staff made up for it though—genuinely friendly. Handy spot if you’re near the station and want a quick bite.

Small menu, usually a good sign. Had the pasta with squid—juicy, cooked right. Cozy spot, staff was genuinely nice. Prices are a bit much for what you get though.

Stopped here mid-ride and grabbed the pasta. Portion was solid, definitely enough fuel for the next morning. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Place gets busy though, took a bit to get served. Fine if you're not in a rush.

The beef tataki starter was the highlight — properly seared, nice texture, good balance with the citrus dressing. Dining room feels calm and modern, which I appreciated. Place is close to the sea, easy to find. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Just wish the portions were a bit more generous for the price.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed the grilled veggie bowl. The zucchini and peppers still had that fresh snap, not soggy at all. Portion was decent for the price. Place got a bit busy around noon, but the staff stayed friendly. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Great seafood and the wine list was well picked. Service matched the food nicely. Solid spot for a classic dinner.

The shrimp croquettes were the highlight—rich, clearly homemade. Classic prep, decent quality ingredients. Solid spot if you're into seafood. Mine came out a bit oily on the bottom, but nothing major. I'd probably come back for those croquettes alone.

The sole meunière was really well done — flaky, buttery, not overcooked. I tried a couple other fish dishes too, all fresh. Portions are generous, maybe even a bit much for me.

The food here is solid, nothing fancy but done right. I’ve been a few times now and it’s always consistent. Staff know what they’re doing, no fuss. If you’re nearby and just want a decent meal, it does the job. Not a place I’d go out of my way for, but it’s fine.
