We popped in for lunch and I’m still thinking about the veal sweetbreads. Honestly, they were cooked perfectly—soft inside, nice crisp on the outside. The terrace looks out to the garden, which is a lovely touch. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Only thing is parking, a bit of a puzzle, but we managed. Would come back for that dish alone.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Set menu did the job — decent portions, didn't leave hungry. Staff were friendly enough, didn't have to wait long for the food. Place has a nice vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. Fine if you're in the area and want something fast without the hassle.

Came for the daily catch. Fish was fresh, cooked simply, no complaints. Place itself is pretty chill, nothing fancy. Staff were alright, not overly chatty but fine. Decent spot if you're in the area and want seafood without the hassle.

Stopped by before catching the ferry and grabbed the smoked salmon baguette. Plenty of filling, decent bread, and it hit the spot. They had a nice little wine list too, which I didn’t expect for a quick stop. Staff stayed friendly even with the lunch crowd. Wouldn’t mind another visit if I’m in the area again.

The tacos here are solid. Got the burrito bowl too, flavors were on point. Hot sauce selection is a nice touch, tried a few of them. Prices fair for what you get. Not mind-blowing but decent for Ghent if you need a Tex-Mex fix.

Been coming here for a while now. Breakfast still hits the spot—eggs done right, bread toasted proper, and the portion’s plenty for what you pay. Place stays consistent, which is why I keep going back. Not the fanciest spot, but it doesn’t need to be. Just solid food and a warm welcome every time.

Spicy miso pork belly was solid—good char, decent heat. Portion size surprised me, plenty for the price. Kitchen closes at 9, so don't show up late.

The signature sour cocktail was worth the price, and the terrace view is lovely. Service was attentive, though it’s a bit pricey for what you get.

The tasting menu hit all the right notes—seafood was spot on. Wine pairing list had some nice surprises too. Service stayed attentive without hovering. Solid pick for a relaxed dinner.

Nice spot on the water, terrace is big and the view does the job. Had the grilled fish, came out fresh and well seasoned. Staff friendly enough, didn't have to wait long. Prices are fair for what you get. Good place to sit back for a while, though it can get a bit busy later in the afternoon.

Gluten-free friend got her own menu and proper bread without any fuss. Cocktails were lovely. Food held up on the second visit too.

The lunch bento boxes are a solid deal—food’s fresh and filling. Fried chicken and teriyaki chicken starters are good too. Just a heads-up, the place is tiny and gets cramped fast.

Cozy place in Middelburg, easy to miss from the outside. The vegan options were plenty and the owner really seems to care about the food. Felt like a home-cooked meal, which I appreciated. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but it was fine for a quick bite.

The handmade ceramics and tableware really caught my eye. Nice to see a place putting thought into the details like that.

Came here with a couple of friends after walking around the center. The vol-au-vent was really tasty, rich sauce and all. Portion looked kinda small at first but honestly it filled me up. Service was a bit slow cause it was packed, but we weren't in a rush so fine by me. Fair prices for the location too. Would pop back if I'm craving something hearty 😊

If you're a Barça fan, this place is a must—there's even a small museum dedicated to the club. The food is authentic and the owners are happy to share their passion for both.

Best ice cream I’ve had in Zeeland, hands down. Tried the salted caramel and it was spot on—creamy, not too sweet. The black cone is a nice gimmick, sure, but the flavor’s what got me. Staff were fine, didn’t really care about that. Just wish the scoop was a bit bigger for the price.

The zeebaars fillet was cooked really well, flaky and fresh. My friend had the rump steak and that looked solid too. Strawberry mojito was a nice pick. Sat outside, right by the beach, which made it feel more relaxed than your average spot. Service was fine, no complaints. Just wish the table wasn't so wobbly, but that's minor.

The gluten-free pizza was actually crispy, not sad and cardboard-like. Really appreciated that they had the option at all.

We've been coming here for years, and the owner still remembers us. That personal touch goes a long way. Food's always fresh, never had a bad plate. After our fifth round, they even brought out some free sides, which was a nice surprise. Place gets busy, but that's a good sign. Solid spot for a casual meal.

Lovely spot on Langestraat, we found it by chance. They let our little poodle in, which was so nice. The retro decor is really cool. We'll definitely come back.

The outside looks a bit plain, but inside it’s actually pretty cozy. I had the truffle pasta and it was really good—creamy, not too heavy. Service was fine, attentive but not hovering. Only thing is the seating felt a little cramped near the window, but I’d still go back for that pasta.

Been coming here for a while now, and the spare ribs are still the reason I keep going back. Had the espresso martini again last night, still solid. Place gets busy, but the food comes out at a good pace. Not the cheapest spot, but you get what you pay for. Consistent, that's what matters to me.

Came for the terrace and stayed way longer than planned. Wind breaks actually work, so sitting outside was comfortable even with the breeze. Good Belgian beer list, tried a local one I hadn't seen before. Nice spot to just chill and watch the sea.

Dropped in without expecting much. Portions were decent and the price felt right for what you got. Staff was friendly enough, didn't have to wait long for the food. Solid spot if you're in Ostend and just want something easy. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.
