I am on a holiday visit with my daughter and her family in Pasadena. I took them out to a lunch at the Porto&#39;s in Glendale. Food was excellent but after giving our party order we were delivered all items except mine. After going up to cashier counter I was told to go sit down it would be out shortly. I sat down and watched my party finish their lunch and I went back to cashier area and the same unfriendly told me to return to my seat. Finally while she was rudely telling me to sit the man behind her found my order was lost and would reorder. then rude mouth ordered me to tell her where I was sitting. I told her the same place for the past 45 mins-- waiting for her to become competent. I had my jacket &quot;Combat Veteran of Korean War&quot; and she looked at it like I was a major pain  and proceeded to charge me for the $7.00 sandwich and I returned to my party that long had finished their lunch and dessert. What a way to ruin what should have been a pleasant lunch out The employee was a disgrace.From fame to shame.

The Cobb omelette was a nice breakfast find. Fresh avocado and crisp bacon made it feel like a proper start to the day. Came back for the salad at lunch and the ingredients were just as fresh. A solid spot for a healthy bite.

Busy spot with a nice vibe. The Green Goddess Smoothie was pretty good, fresh and not too sweet. It&#39;s a decent choice for a quick, healthy pick-me-up.

The tostada bowl was pretty good, loaded with fresh ceviche. The spice level was just right for me. A decent little spot.

This place is a legit find. The carne asada was so flavorful, and the beans had this smoky depth I wasn&#39;t expecting. Just really solid, authentic stuff.

I always order through the app for the points, and this location&#39;s service is consistently friendly. Just double-check your order, though.

Their matcha latte is my go-to. It&#39;s always smooth and just the right temperature, never too hot or too weak. The cups are cute too, really nice to hold.

The cafe de olla was the star. Just the right amount of cinnamon, not too sweet. Honestly, that cup alone made my stop here.

The staff handled a difficult situation with an angry customer professionally during my visit. The food and service remained top-notch.

While the prices are on the higher side, the combination of stunning views, high-quality food, and polished service makes for a truly memorable fine-dining experience.
