Ramen was light and the broth had good flavor. Sushi tasted fresh too. Bit pricey for what you get, but I'd probably come back if I'm craving Japanese.

The grilled octopus was the standout. Tender, smoky, just the right amount of salt. Portion size was solid for the price. Place gets packed by noon, so get there early or you'll wait. That's about it.

The grilled fish parrillada is still solid after several visits. Big portion, smoky char, and the fish stays moist. I paired it with a glass of sauvignon blanc and honestly, that combo worked better than expected. Place gets loud later in the evening, so go early if you want to actually talk.

Stopped by for breakfast on a Monday. Place has a nice vibe, pretty chill. Got the usual eggs and coffee, solid. The guy working that morning was on top of things, kept my coffee full. It did get a bit busy later, so we waited a little for the check. Nothing crazy, just a heads up. Fine spot if you're in the area.

The empanadas came out pretty small, honestly. But the coffee and desserts are the move here—I grabbed a slice of cake and it was solid. Shakes were way too sweet for me though. Service was fine, nothing special. I'd come back just for the dessert part.

Good pasta and pizza selection. Staff actually knew the menu when I asked about the gnocchi. Place was busy but we got our food quick. Solid choice if you're in the area.

Service was quick and the staff were nice, even when it got busy. Classic diner vibe, good spot to grab a bite with friends 👍

Pasta portions are solid for the price. Wine list has some cheap picks that don't suck. Got in and out fast enough for a lunch break.

The lomo saltado was solid—chicken was tender and the sauce had real flavor. Portion was big enough to share, though I kinda wished I’d gotten it with extra rice.

The lomo saltado was the real deal. Meat came out juicy, still slightly pink inside, and the fries soaked up all that soy-vinegar sauce. Big portion too. Didn't need to order anything else. Maybe the rice was a bit dry but I was too busy eating the beef to care much.

The lighting in there is warm and soft, makes you want to linger. Had the meat empanada, filling was okay but a bit plain. Wish they'd toss in a napkin with takeout, small thing but it bugs me. Still, that old-school bakery vibe keeps pulling me back.

The set lunch was solid and the Quiche Lorraine really stood out. Nice spot in an old building right by Plaza de Armas. Staff kept checking in even when it got busy.

The mixed ceviche was solid, and the seafood fried rice? Massive. Three of us couldn’t even get through half. I had a pisco sour alongside—it cut through the richness nicely. Waitress handled our broken Spanish with patience. Place is huge, packed with locals. Only hiccup: we waited a bit for the bill.

Tried the fish tacos—tortillas were super fresh. Wish they'd post their hours though, took us two tries to catch them open.

Service was quick and the menu is huge for the price. Two floors helped with the weekend crowd, though it got a bit loud. Takeout seemed to be the move.

Stopped by for a quick bite after walking around Miraflores. Outdoor seating was nice, not too noisy. Got the salchipapas—portion was big, plenty for two honestly. The house-made cold cuts made it better than the usual street version. Prices are fair for the area. Would come back if I'm in the neighborhood again.

The mushroom pizza was solid and the seating area felt really chill. Good spot if you want a quiet meal without much noise around.

Cozy spot for sure, the vibe is super chill and great for catching up with friends. Service was nice but honestly the food was just okay, nothing that blew me away. Maybe I ordered wrong? 🤷‍♀️

The terrace at breakfast was so peaceful, and Omar made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. Really comfortable spot to start the day.

The food was pretty good, though the portions ran a bit small. I had the lomo saltado and it came out decent, well-seasoned but nothing mind-blowing. The spot itself is nice, right in a good area. Only thing that bugged me—they put bread on the table and charged for it even when I didn't ask. Felt a little sneaky. Fine for a one-off visit.

Stopped by for a quick lunch near Barranco plaza. Leche de tigre was solid, causa acevichada hit the spot too. Prices fair for the area. Service was fast enough.

Stumbled in because the usual spot was packed. Ended up with the bento box and honestly, it hit the spot. Portion was big enough to take half home. Price felt right for what you get. Kids cleaned their plates too, which never happens. Already told my brother to check it out next time he's in town.
