Authentic Neapolitan pizza. The 'Funiculi' with its quality ingredients is the reason to come. Service was efficient, staff friendly. Good value for the quality. A solid choice for a business lunch.

The owner was very friendly and offered us samples of his special cantuccini. A nice touch at this family-run spot.

The focaccia sandwich was so fresh, with quality sliced meat and a nice touch of walnuts and honey. Good value for a few euros.

Lovely little trattoria, feels like home. The portions are absolutely massive for the price, which was a nice surprise. I had a glass of their house red, and it was quite good.

The wine, starter, and main for two were very reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised by that, considering the quality of the ingredients. The whole meal felt like a good, uncomplicated choice.

Nice tasty food. It was a hot day and the staff did their best.

This café has a charming outdoor garden and a rich breakfast menu that caters to everyone's tastes. The prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for a morning meal.

Was worried about tourist trap prices near the Tower, but the owner was so nice and helped us practice our Italian! Made the whole dinner fun with friends.

This spot near Piazza del Duomo is nice and quiet. Got the ham board and seafood linguine. The linguine was really good, fresh clams and a tasty sauce. Staff were friendly and quick.

Just a short walk from the station. The pizza was really good, and the lasagne too. What stood out was how comfortable the seating was, not cramped at all. Made for a very relaxed meal.

The cheese board was a standout. Generous portions of quality cheeses, and the toasts were perfectly crisp. Felt like good value for what you get.

I tried the weekday day menu for €15. The pizza was huge and the salad that came with it was so fresh. The greens tasted like they were just picked. A quiet spot for a healthy lunch.

Been here a few times before flights. The tagliatelle with ragù is solid, tastes homemade. Not like the usual rushed airport food. Service is quick, which you need when you're on a clock.

The penne alla disperata is my go-to here. It's so good we always end up sharing bites around the table. The staff are really sweet about it, too.

Been coming here for years when I want a good steak without the fuss. The sliced steak with mushrooms is my go-to. Cooked just right every time. The place is always clean, even the restrooms. It's just consistent.

We get their cakes for the kids all the time. The sugar paste decorations are always so detailed and neat, especially for what you pay. The staff is really nice about it too.

The strawberry ravioli was a fun idea, and the orange tiramisu was a nice twist. But the real standout for me was the atmosphere. The lighting was soft, the tables weren't crammed together, and the whole vibe was just really relaxed. A pleasant spot to unwind.

Nice spot in the Lucca countryside. Good for a family dinner. The seafood felt traditional, the atmosphere was authentic. A solid choice if you're in the area.

Busy spot, gets loud. But that's the vibe here. Quick lunch, no fuss. Had the pasta special, solid. Good for a fast bite. Book ahead on weekends.

May 2023We booked our reservation on "The Fork" one hour before going to dinner. We arrived a few minutes late and it was no problem at all. The staff was very attentive and patient (slight language barrier) with me and my wife. The service was quick (but not too fast) and the food was fresh, hot and fresh. We dined inside and were surrounded with wine bottles from many, many vineyards which provided a casual elegance to the dining experience. We enjoyed the appetizers, 1st course, 2nd course and the dessert. The wine selections for us was perfect. Need I say more??? Go there and enjoy a wonderful meal at a very, very reasonable price.

The panini and pizza were really good. I appreciated the local vegan option, the Cecina. A solid spot for a bite near the station. The staff was friendly and the seating was comfortable, which made for a relaxed lunch.

Came here for an early dinner. The food was really good, especially the pasta. Tried a local wine from their list, it paired nicely. A bit on the pricier side, but the quality is there.

Came for the first time and really liked the cold antipasti selection. The mortadella was super fresh, and the olives had a nice kick. Good spot for a casual glass of wine too.

Stumbled in for lunch. The place was packed with locals, so you know it's legit. Got the pasta special. Simple, rustic, just good. A bit noisy, but that's the vibe.

The pizzas are really flavorful. I like that it's a bit off the main tourist path, feels more local. The space is small but cozy. My only note is the chairs are a bit hard for a longer meal.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is truly inviting, with a warm and artistic decor that reflects the history of Lucca. The staff is exceptionally friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Came here for an aperitivo with friends last night. The vibe was so lively, we ended up staying way longer than planned just chatting and watching the world go by. Perfect spot to catch up. 🍹

The ice cream here is something else. Just polished off a cup and had to get another. It's creamy, not too sweet. A bit pricey for the size, but I couldn't resist.
