Stopped in for a quick bite. They had a fire going which was nice on a cold day. Staff were really chill and even gave our dogs a few treats. 👍

Lovely spot for a drink by the water. The patio view is just perfect for unwinding. They had a local musician playing last night, which was a nice touch. A bit pricey for the cocktails, but you're paying for that view.

Lovely spot with a fresh refurb. The outdoor seating is a nice touch, and the staff are very friendly.

Had the blue cheese ice cream for dessert. Sounds odd, but it worked. Sat by the fire, which was nice on a chilly night. Decent portion for the price.

The Thai sweet potato soup was the standout for me. Really creamy with a nice kick of spice, perfect for a chilly day. The menu's got a lot going on, but I'd probably just come back for that soup again.

Popped in for a late lunch after walking around all morning. The chicken pot pie was piping hot, the pastry was flaky. Exactly what you need to warm up and get back out there. Service was spot on, no rush at all.

Came by for a quick lunch. The haddock was fried just right, batter was light and not oily. Chips were crispy and the portion was decent. Hit the spot.

The Cumberland Ale was a great match for the Cowboy Burger. Generous portions, and the sticky toffee pudding was a treat.

A lovely dog-friendly pub in the heart of Keswick. The staff were so welcoming, even for our walk-in group with a pram. The atmosphere is warm and the pub itself is clean and cozy.

The lamb shank was the standout. Slow-cooked for hours, the meat just fell off the bone. Rich, deep flavour from the red wine sauce, and the mash underneath soaked it all up perfectly. A proper, hearty dish.

The full English was solid, especially the Cumberland sausage - proper flavour. Flat white hit the spot. Service slowed down when they got busy, but that just meant more time to chat with my mates.

The waitress was absolutely on it, really knew her stuff. Suggested a local ale that went perfectly with the hearty steak pie. Portions are generous, proper pub food. Service like that is a rare treat these days.

Been here a few times, it's always packed. Staff are nice enough, but you do wait a bit for your food when it's heaving. Not a deal-breaker, just how it is.

Nice spot by the river. Grabbed a quick lunch - smoked salmon salad and fishcakes were solid. The view is the real winner here, makes a simple meal feel a bit special. Good for a fast bite if you're in the area.

A simple tea shop, but the vegan food is spot on. Had the laksa, full of flavour. They make everything fresh, so you do wait a bit. Their house-made kombucha was a great pairing, really cut through the richness. Solid spot for a casual lunch.

The ribs here are a solid choice for a quick lunch. Tasty and satisfying, nothing fancy. Got my order in under 10 minutes, which is perfect for my break.

The sharing platter is huge, we barely finished it between two. Grabbed it for takeaway on a Friday night – place was packed, so glad we did.

Came here with a group of eight. The service was pretty good, attentive without being overbearing. The space itself is warm and nicely done. Food was decent, though a couple of dishes could have been a bit warmer.

Always a solid choice in town. The bread is fresh, you can smell it baking. The fillings are so pretty, it feels like a little treat just looking at them.

The steak here is the thing. Cooked exactly as I asked, really good flavour in the meat itself. Juicy, with a nice char on the outside. It's what I come for.

Secure parking right off the motorway. Easy for a quick stop.

The vegan breakfast here is a solid choice. The toasted veg was a nice touch, gave it a good texture. Menu's got a decent range for plant-based options, which is handy.

Perfect for a quick bite. The yellow curry and Pad Si Ew are spot on, and they're dog-friendly too.

The kayaking was great, but the real star was the cafe's chocolate scone after. Still warm, flaky with big chocolate chunks. That alone made the trip worthwhile.

Great spot for a quick bite. Hot chocolate with cream and a marshmallow hit the spot, brownie was properly gooey. Got a treat for the dog too, which is a nice touch. Service was quick, in and out in no time.

Lovely light space, stays calm even when a crowd. The creamy chicken and mushroom dish was spot on - rich but not heavy, and the roasted veg still had a bit of bite. Just what I needed for a quiet lunch.

Came in on a rainy day. The cakes are fresh and the variety is decent, but the portion for the price felt a bit small.

Went for the chicken curry. The sauce was rich, not too spicy, just right. The meat was tender, fell off the bone. Good portion for the price. Quick service too.
