Just tried their new spot. The sandwich was spot on, fresh bread and generous fillings. Salad had a nice crunch. Service was friendly and quick, even though the place was packed. Really enjoyed it.

Popped in for lunch with the kids. The Caesar salad was crisp, and the tuna melt hit the spot. My little one was happy with his milkshake. What really stood out was the wine list—found a surprisingly good Pinot Grigio by the glass that paired nicely with the meal. A solid, relaxed spot.

Cosy place with a huge tea and coffee menu. They grind the beans fresh, you can smell it from outside. Ordered a flat white, but it was a bit on the small side for the price.

Stopped in for a quick bite during a long drive. The place has a really calm, airy feel with lots of natural light. Just what I needed to unwind for a bit. Food was good and came out fast.

The afternoon tea is a nice treat. The scones were particularly good, warm and fluffy. The presentation of the savories and sweets was lovely. A pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

The festive paninis were a real standout, and those pigs in blankets were huge! The steak and ale pie was tasty, and the service was warm. A solid spot for a casual bite.

The soup was so creamy and the apple pie with ice cream was huge! Perfect for sharing with a friend.

The bacon and egg roll was spot on. Crispy bacon, runny egg, just the right amount of sauce. Simple things done well are hard to beat for a weekend breakfast.

Menu's got some interesting bits, like the spiced apple scone. Went for the soup special and a sausage cheese panini. Both were solid, really hit the spot on a drizzly day. The panini was nicely toasted, cheese properly melted.

Cosy spot in Penrith. The scone with that Cumberland mustard had a nice little kick to it. Soups were tasty too. Good for a quick warm-up.

Been coming here for years, and the broccoli soup is always spot on. It's the one thing I know I can count on. Just had it again last week, still that perfect, simple flavour.

The millionaire's shortcake was so good. Rich caramel, perfect crumb. The paradise slice was a nice follow-up, not too sweet. Just a lovely little treat with my coffee.

The full English was solid, especially the Cumberland sausage - proper flavour. Flat white hit the spot. Service slowed down when they got busy, but that just meant more time to chat with my mates.

Popped in for a coffee and a slice of their carrot cake on the drive up. That cake was honestly the best I've had in ages - so moist and not too sweet. Really hit the spot.

A simple tea shop, but the vegan food is spot on. Had the laksa, full of flavour. They make everything fresh, so you do wait a bit. Their house-made kombucha was a great pairing, really cut through the richness. Solid spot for a casual lunch.

Came in on a rainy day. The cakes are fresh and the variety is decent, but the portion for the price felt a bit small.

Ordered their afternoon tea for takeaway. A decent selection of sandwiches, scones, and cakes. Everything was fresh and tasted pretty good. Good value for the price. The scones were a bit on the dry side, but overall a nice treat.

The outdoor bit is nice when the sun's out. Grabbed a coffee there last week, just watching the park. It's a good place to sit for a bit.

Came here for a treat after a long walk. The milkshake was really creamy and the cake was so fresh. You could tell the ingredients were good quality. The staff were lovely too.

The full English here is spot on. Everything came out piping hot, which is key. Sausages had good flavour, and the eggs were cooked just right. Tea served in a proper pot with a china cup was a nice touch. Solid breakfast.

The steak here is the thing. Cooked exactly as I asked, really good flavour in the meat itself. Juicy, with a nice char on the outside. It's what I come for.

The vegan breakfast here is a solid choice. The toasted veg was a nice touch, gave it a good texture. Menu's got a decent range for plant-based options, which is handy.

Great spot for a quick bite. Hot chocolate with cream and a marshmallow hit the spot, brownie was properly gooey. Got a treat for the dog too, which is a nice touch. Service was quick, in and out in no time.

The chocolate sponge with ganache was lovely. The plum almond sponge was nice too. Coffee was good. I just wish the chairs were a bit more padded, my back was a bit stiff by the end.

Stumbled upon this spot and the mega breakfast was huge! Good ingredients for the price.

The food's quality is a real surprise for the price. Staff are quick and seem genuinely happy to be there, which makes a difference. My main was spot on, though the sides could've been warmer.

Been coming here for years, and the Cumbria rarebit is always spot on. It's the one thing I order every time – never disappoints. Service is friendly, no fuss. Just a solid, reliable meal.
