The goulash dumplings were great but the meat was a bit tough. Strawberry tiramisu saved it though 🍓

The place has this cozy vibe that’s hard to find. Staff were friendly without hovering. I had the chocolate cake and a flat white—cake was moist, not overly sweet, coffee had a nice kick. Prices felt fair for what you get. Only thing: it got a bit busy around 3pm, but that’s on me for timing.

We were a group of seven and tried a bit of everything—apps, mains, desserts. Food was solid, nothing blew me away but it was all well-prepared. The service stood out though, really welcoming without being pushy. Only thing: the seating area felt a bit cramped for our group size. Still, everyone left satisfied.

Nice spot for a quick coffee and cake. Back seating area is cozy enough. Service was friendly and fast. Solid choice if you're nearby.

The menu is small and changes with the seasons, which I really like. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Cozy room, nothing fancy.

Stumbled into this place while walking around Freiberg. Got a slice of Eierschecke and coffee. Cake was really good, not too sweet. Place is small but fine for a quick stop. Service was okay, nothing special. Prices fair for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The spaghetti aglio e olio hit the spot—simple, garlicky, just right. A glass of the house red paired nicely with it. Portions were solid for the price. Service was quick, no complaints.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed the gyros salad with flatbread. Fresh, well-seasoned, and the bread was still warm. They even brought out a small ouzo on the house — nice touch with the meal. Place got busy fast, so we waited a bit longer than expected. Fair enough for the quality. I'd come back for that salad again.

Nice old building, 300 years if I remember right. Beer garden out back is solid. Food was hearty, big portions for the price. Nothing fancy but it hits the spot.

The grilled fish was cooked just right—flaky inside, light crust outside. You can tell they don’t drown things in oil here. Even the side salad had fresh greens, not the sad wilted stuff you often get. Price felt fair for what was on the plate. Owner came by to explain a few dishes, which was nice. Maybe a bit quiet on a weekday evening, but I liked that.

Fresh sushi, friendly staff. Our go-to spot for a quick bite in town. Gets busy in the evening though, so booking ahead is a smart move.

We've been coming here for a while now, and the staff still remembers us. They brought water for our dog before we even asked. Food's consistent too, which is why we keep going back.

Lovely coffee and cake while watching the snow fall outside. Staff were genuinely nice. Prices a bit steep, but the view made it worth it.

The sauerbraten was really tender and the gravy had good depth. Came back twice during our stay. Around €23 per person felt okay for what you get.

Stopped by for coffee and a slice of Eierschecke. The cake was warm and really good. Staff were friendly, no complaints. Place felt a bit cramped though.

Solid food and big portions, right on the market square. Had a decent schnitzel, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Service was a bit slow though. Fine for a casual meal in Zwickau.

The pulled pork sandwich was the highlight—smoky, tender, with just enough sauce. Bun held up well. Parking was easy too.

Been coming here for a while now, mostly after hikes. The view of the Ore Mountains from the terrace is the main reason I keep returning. Food is decent home-style cooking, nothing fancy but reliable. Prices are fair for what you get. Service can be a bit slow when it's busy, but I don't mind waiting when the scenery's this good.

Decent drink list and the staff handled my request without fuss. Felt like a regular after one visit. Solid spot if you're in the area.
