The gluten-free tamari was a thoughtful touch. It's rare to feel so considered without having to ask. The staff knew exactly what to avoid, which made ordering simple. A small detail, but it meant a lot.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxing and clean, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal. The staff's warm hospitality adds to the overall enjoyable dining experience.

Came here for a quick lunch. Ordered the pasta, it was cooked just right, al dente. Portion was decent for the price. Saw the steaks at another table, they looked generous too. Friendly place, good for a casual bite.

The lady who runs the place is so sweet, she even tried a bit of English with me. That warm obanyaki was just what I needed on a cold afternoon. So cozy!

This restaurant near Narita Airport is a hidden gem! The tonkatsu is delicious and the portions are generous, making it a great choice for travelers.

The bar offers a decent selection of food and drinks, but be mindful of the 5% credit card charge when settling your bill.

No. 1 of Bars in Narita

The chicken katsu curry was the main thing. The curry sauce had a deep, savory flavor, and the pork cutlet was fried perfectly—crispy outside, still juicy inside. The portion was generous. That's what I came for.

I had a fantastic experience at this cozy restaurant. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the portions were generous. The cheese menchi katsu was a highlight—so flavorful and not greasy at all!

Shrimp okonomiyaki and mochi gyoza were fresh and well-prepared. Prices are reasonable. Just note it's cash only, which is a bit inconvenient. Good spot for a quick meal.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. The sushi chef was super friendly, took the time to explain the specials to me. Really enjoyed that. Place is small but feels nice.

The tonkatsu set meal was delicious and exceeded my expectations, especially the shredded cabbage and clam miso soup that complemented the dish perfectly.

Clean and spacious spot, with both counter and table seats. The English menu was a lifesaver for me. Made ordering the ramen so much easier.

The all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu is a solid deal. I really liked the spicy broth. The dining area is spacious and the tables aren't cramped together, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed.

Staff are from Thailand and explain the menu well. Helpful when I asked about spice levels. Service was prompt for a weekday lunch.

I highly recommend this izakaya! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are accommodating. The deep-fried chicken and sashimi platters are particularly impressive.

The clay pot rice takes a while, but it's worth the wait. The rice comes out all glossy and fluffy, just the right texture. You can tell it's cooked fresh.

The nachos were pretty good! The cheese was melty and the jalapeños had a nice kick. Just wish the service was a bit quicker, we were pretty hungry.

Grabbed the soy milk tantanmen before my flight, it's only at the Narita branch. The broth was creamy and had a good kick. A small bowl of rice on the side was just right. Quick and satisfying.

As a crew member, I appreciate the generous portions here. The burger was huge, fries filled the plate. Drinks are also large. It's a reliable spot after a long flight. A bit noisy, but that's fine.

The unagi here is so tender, it just melts. The sauce has this subtle sweetness that doesn't overpower the eel itself. Ate at the counter and watched them grill it over the charcoal—the aroma was everything. A bit of a wait, but that's part of the charm in an old town like Sawara.

The option to customize your udon bowl with toppings such as crispy tempura adds a pleasant, personal touch to the meal.

As a One Harmony member, I got a discount. The membership is free and easy to sign up for, which helped with the final bill.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially with vegan options. The food was delicious and prepared with care, making it a great value at 2600 yen.

The pad thai here totally took me back to Bangkok! The tamarind and peanuts were just right. A bit pricey, but the flavors are spot-on.
