TheForkUserWhat a great restaurant. Unique dishes with modern twists. We really enjoyed the upscale atmosphere and the great quality of the food. I cannot understand how this restaurant does not have a higher score on google. It really deserves its honorable mention in the Michelin guide.
TheForkUserEverything was perfect! The restaurant itself is so stylish. The service was impeccable, and the food was so delicious! We walked out very happy. It’s worth every penny. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserCharming, cozy, traditional restaurant. Super helpful staff. Large healthy salads and really great grilled meats. Fado singers included! Would definitely eat there again.
TheForkUserAn amazing restaurant!Intimate space with only a few (lucky) tables. Delicious and creative food that one can tell took so much thought, care and time to make absolutely perfect. Outstanding service. Wonderful and unique. Recommend highly!
TheForkUserDelicious francesinha, definitely one you should try when in Coimbra, with a rich and lightly spicy sauce and tasty pork filling. Fair price, good and friendly service with a cool environment. They only open at night and accept portuguese credit cards.
TheForkUserAmazing food and ambience. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended
_TI***gyNotes Bar and Kitchen is a hidden gem in Coimbra! The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff made my visit truly special. The mushroom croquette and burrata salad were highlights of the meal.

TheForkUserThis was my second time dining at Solar do Bacalhau, and just like before, it did not disappoint. The food is outstanding, Naturally, we had the codfish — and it was absolutely superb. The service is top-notch — attentive, friendly, and professional, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re in the area, this restaurant is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back again!
TheForkUserWe were definitely positively surprised: stunning place, some of the best food we've had in Portugal and very fair prices. We were staying in Penacova and it is well worth the 30 min drive.
TheForkUserThe food was authentic and delicious. I had the sea bass. My husband had the veal steak. Both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The vegetable accompaniments were excellent. Service was friendly and competent. Altogether a wonderful experience.
TheForkUserIt was the second time I went to this amazing restaurant. Amazing sushi, amazing service and very comfortable atmosphere.
TheForkUserGreat Portuguese restaurant in the middle of a neighborhood. The two of us split three dishes and it was plenty. Bacalao a bras great, garlic shrimp delicious and then a creamy risotto. Friendly waiter and good value for the money. Definitely recommend.
TheForkUserIn the upper side of the city, the locations was beautiful! We had a buffet lunch that was very delicious, with a good choice of plates. The view over the city was incredible! Very nice place!!
_TI***k1This restaurant offers a fantastic atmosphere and excellent service, making it a perfect spot for celebrations like birthday parties.
_TI***orWith a Michelin rating, Arcadas lives up to its reputation. The tasting menu is a delightful journey through Portuguese cuisine, showcasing fresh ingredients and artistic plating.
TheForkUserVery good but I consider it expensive. There are other similar sushi restaurants ata better price and also with a good offer.
_TI***zlThis Brazilian restaurant in Coimbra offers a cozy atmosphere with delicious food. The feijoada is a must-try, and the service is top-notch!
TheForkUserExcellent service, delicious food and wonderful view. We loved our server, she was wonderful. We also really enjoyed all our dishes from the appetizers to the dessert.
TheForkUserThis is a great restaurant - the menu had many options and there were several that tempted us. Zeroed in on the Veal Chop - a delight - with grilled potatoes, pineapple, and vegetables. Had a Salade Nicoise to start/share - delicious. Asked Pedro the waiter for a recommendation on wine - he came back with a great bottle of local wine! Pedro was very attentive to our needs. Loved the experience. It would have been great to have more light around the area when we left, but we quickly found our bearings; BTW, easy to park a car there, so driving there is a great option.
TheForkUserIt’s an excellent pizzeria with a wide menu (of pizzas of course!) and attentive service. There are indoor and outdoor seating options. The dessert menu might have been a little more expansive (as it is only milkshakes and crepes) but the pizza was very enjoyable after a long day sightseeing in the Coimbra sun,
TheForkUserGreat service, lovely food and ambience. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were knowledgeable and attentive. Quality restaurant and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.
TheForkUserIf you are interested in the food/pizza its a good place to go. The service is also good. But the region where it is its not pretty to get a good view.
TheForkUserWe had a great expreience here. I tried the goat stew which was excellent and my wife had the vegetarian rice. The service was great and we were offered a complimentary Ginja shot at the end.
_TI***cuThe setting is interesting with a view of the market, and the staff provided wonderful attention. The meal was amazing, making it a highly recommended dining spot.
TheForkUserGreat food and service. The servers were wonderful and the white wine chosen for us was so very good. The food was absolutely amazing and we met Lucia who had worked so very hard in the kitchen all night.
