Coffee and a quiche hit the spot, but the pastel de nata was the real star. Wish they had a better wine option by the glass though. Solid spot for a quick breakfast.

We were definitely positively surprised: stunning place, some of the best food we've had in Portugal and very fair prices. We were staying in Penacova and it is well worth the 30 min drive.

Came twice, food and service stayed consistent. Weekend live music adds something, just gets a bit loud for conversation. Solid spot overall.

The açaí comes out icy, almost like a slush — good for a hot afternoon. Portion was generous, price fair for what you get. No complaints on that front. Place itself is nothing fancy, but it does the job. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

Nuno’s suggestions were spot on. Steak was cooked exactly how I asked. Solid spot if you’re in the area. 👍

The seafood and meat skewer was spot on — juicy, smoky, just the right amount of char. Staff actually took time to explain the menu, which helped a lot since I had no clue what to pick. Left full and happy. Would come back for that skewer alone.

Great Portuguese restaurant in the middle of a neighborhood. The two of us split three dishes and it was plenty. Bacalao a bras great, garlic shrimp delicious and then a creamy risotto. Friendly waiter and good value for the money. Definitely recommend.

The terrace is really cozy, and the lamb shank was so tender it fell right off the bone. Service was friendly and attentive without hovering. Just what I needed after a long walk around Coimbra.

Stopped here on the way from Lisbon to Porto. Food was simple but tasty, and the portions were really generous for the price. I liked that it felt home-style, not fancy. Service was friendly enough, though I did have to wait a bit to get the bill. Fine for a quick break if you're driving through.

Came here for the first time last week and honestly the staff made it so easy to feel at home. I had the grilled octopus with rice — super tender, and the portion was way bigger than I expected. Place was busy but not chaotic. Would go back just for that dish again.

In the upper side of the city, the locations was beautiful! We had a buffet lunch that was very delicious, with a good choice of plates. The view over the city was incredible! Very nice place!!

The pastries were solid and my hot chocolate hit the spot. Place looks fancier than the prices suggest, just wish the service was a bit quicker.

This was my second time dining at Solar do Bacalhau, and just like before, it did not disappoint. The food is outstanding, Naturally, we had the codfish — and it was absolutely superb. The service is top-notch — attentive, friendly, and professional, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re in the area, this restaurant is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back again!

This restaurant offers a fantastic atmosphere and excellent service, making it a perfect spot for celebrations like birthday parties.

Fresh fish and plenty of options for the price, lunch deal is solid. Some rolls were a bit too much rice though.

The €10 lunch menu is a steal—soup, main, bread, and a drink. It gets pretty hectic at peak times, but the staff kept it together and stayed friendly.

The buffet spread was solid — the cod with cornbread and vitela à Lafões were the highlights. Open bar with wine and cocktails made it feel like a proper celebration.

With a Michelin rating, Arcadas lives up to its reputation. The tasting menu is a delightful journey through Portuguese cuisine, showcasing fresh ingredients and artistic plating.

Menu’s short but what we had was fresh, cooked right. That little sauce bar at the counter? Good move, gives it a kick if you want. Nothing fancy, just solid food. I’d go back if I’m in the area and hungry.

The food was authentic and delicious. I had the sea bass. My husband had the veal steak. Both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The vegetable accompaniments were excellent. Service was friendly and competent. Altogether a wonderful experience.

The Portuguese french toast was the standout — crispy outside, soft inside, soaked just right. Tiramisu was decent too. Whole breakfast with cappuccino, orange juice, and croissant for 10 euros. Can't complain about that. Would've liked a bit more coffee in the cappuccino though.

It was the second time I went to this amazing restaurant. Amazing sushi, amazing service and very comfortable atmosphere.

This restaurant truly deserves a Michelin star. The service is outstanding, the food is exquisite, and the overall warmth and hospitality create an unforgettable experience.

Nice spot in the old chapel, view over the square is lovely. Coffee was cheap and the guy behind the counter was friendly. Good place to just sit and watch people for a bit.
