TheForkUserThis was an amazing no-BS experience. We were told about the butcher shops in the area that turn into restaurants in the evening and didn’t quite believe it. But this is a true butcher shop - that, when darkness falls, let you point in the counter and decide what meat the butcher should cook for you… The man himself took time to explain the concept and the various meat types to us Danes who never saw this before. He was kind and thorough. We went with his recommendations, and had a filet of a huge steak, some Bolletini, some meat roll and more - and all was SO delicious. The best, however, was the setting: a small corner outside the shop with a few tables; the nicest people to serve us the great meal, while Italian city life happened all around us. No tourist in sight except at our table. What an evening.Falsopepe
