Been coming here for years. The portions are still generous, which I appreciate. Had the lamb shank last night, it was tender and flavourful. A solid choice for a reliable dinner.

Lovely decor, but the smaller portions option is a nice touch for mindful eating.

Lovely spot for a special occasion. The food was splendid, though the setting felt a bit too glam for a casual bite.

Nice little spot. Staff were friendly, the vibe was relaxed. Had the grilled salmon, which was cooked just right. Their house white was a surprisingly good match for it – crisp, not too oaky. A solid choice for a casual dinner.

I'm dairy-free, and they had a special menu printed and ready when I sat down. The roasted chicken with the herb oil was really good—felt nice not to have to ask twice.

The fish and chips are my go-to when meeting friends here. The fish is always fresh and the chips are so good cooked in beef dripping. Portions are huge, perfect for sharing. It did take a little while to come out, but we were chatting anyway.

The food was solid, and they happily tweaked the dessert. The wine list had some nice options to go with it.

The Sunday buffet was a hit with our group. Everything felt freshly made, and the staff were really attentive. Even our vegetarian friend had plenty of options.

The cheese burger was really good. The patty tasted fresh, not greasy at all. I appreciated that they use quality ingredients you can actually taste. My friends enjoyed their skewers too. Portions were just right for me.

Grabbed the gluten-free spaghetti and meatballs for takeaway. Still hot when I picked it up, which is a nice touch. The meatballs were actually pretty decent, not dry at all. Good to see a proper gluten-free choice on the menu.

A decent spot, but remember to bring cash. The pasta was pretty good, simple and fresh. Service was fine, a bit slow when they got busy.

The grilled chicken pizza was decent. The base was good, chicken was tender. But for the price, I was expecting a slightly bigger portion. It's fine for a quick lunch, just don't go in starving.

The gluten-free menu here is actually decent! I had the GF pasta and it was really tasty. Nice to have options when you're out with friends who have dietary needs.

Cash only, which they do mention clearly. The cash machine next door is handy. I was really pleased with the freshness of the ingredients in my salad. The greens were crisp and the avocado was perfectly ripe. It felt like a genuinely healthy choice.

The food here is always spot on. Just had their chicken tikka masala again and it’s so reliable.

Got a window seat facing the beach. Just sat there with a coffee, watching the waves and people on the promenade for ages. Really chill spot. The view’s the main event here.

Prices here are fair for what you get. We had three courses and a carafe of wine, didn't feel overcharged. Menu's got enough choice to keep everyone happy.

The pate starter had a really good texture, coarse but smooth, and the chutney it came with cut through the richness nicely. The fish cake for main was packed with salmon, not just potato. Portions were decent for the price.

The cod and chips were nice, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Popped in for a Sunday lunch. The sharing board with a glass of red was just right for a lazy afternoon. Staff were really nice. Might stop by again if I'm back in Chester.

Solid pierogi spot. The mixed platter is a sensible choice to try the varieties. The owner is approachable and checks on tables. Good for a straightforward meal near the station.

The coffee here is fantastic - rich and smooth, with a lovely crema on top. It's the kind that makes you want to linger over a second cup. The staff are really friendly too, which just adds to the relaxed vibe.

The cheese and pickle sandwich was really nice. Decent portion size too. Staff were friendly and helpful. A solid, simple lunch spot.

The food's got flavour, but if you like it hot, ask for extra spice. Their 'medium' or 'spicy' dishes can be milder than you'd think. I had the mapo tofu on a 'spicy' setting and it was more of a gentle warmth.

The fish and chips are a proper treat! The batter is so light and crisp, and the cod is thick and flaky, not that thin, oily stuff you sometimes get. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends, though it did take a little while to arrive.
