Visited Durham for a super historical weekend. Didn&rsquo;t dream we would eat in such an amazing restaurant too. The food would grace any Michelin starred table. Great taste and presentation throughout the 7 course tasting menu. (We added another to the 6 😋) wines and service exceptional too.

Good wine list, lots to choose from. We had the set menu and tried a different glass with each course. Pairing worked well, service was knowledgeable on the options. Solid choice if you want to explore some pairings.

Had Sunday roast. Good choice of meats, excellent portions.  Very tasty. Nice dessert menu too. Best to book as was quite busy

Cozy little spot. Felt like a hidden gem. Atmosphere was super relaxed, just right for a casual bite.

The waffles were lovely and the hot chocolate was just right. My granddaughter enjoyed the curly fries. It&#39;s a nice spot for a treat, and the booths were very comfortable for a relaxed visit.

Service was really good. Laura and Lauren were especially nice and kept checking on us without being overbearing. Made the whole meal feel relaxed.

Had my wedding here and the views were gorgeous. Georgiana was brilliant at keeping everything on track.

There was a good atmosphere.  The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was great service and the food was lovely. Will definitely go back.

Cosy spot with a fun 50s vibe. Menu&#39;s small but everything we tried was spot on. Perfect for a catch-up with mates - we lingered over the mains (from &pound;18) and never felt rushed. Service was just right, friendly but not in your face.

Came in for a quick bite and ended up upstairs. It&#39;s a lot quieter up there, away from the main floor bustle. Good spot to just sit and have your coffee.

Large and cozy inside, with a covered terrace. Classic Wetherspoons food at those unbeatable prices.

Nice big terrace for summer evenings. Food came out fast, tasted fresh. The aubergine rolls were good, but the feta inside was a bit too salty for me. Still, a solid spot.

The space is perfect for a big group breakfast. We all had room to spread out and chat comfortably.

Convenient spot right by the church and town centre. The beer garden out back is a real plus - spacious and pleasant when the weather&#39;s good. Makes for a straightforward, relaxed stop.

The roast potatoes were a new addition, and they were really good. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The apple pie with custard for dessert finished things off nicely.

The hot shot parmo was spot on, especially the skin-on chunky chips.

Wasn&#39;t expecting much, just popped in for a quick bite. Mentioned my nut allergy and the server actually went to check with the kitchen twice. Felt pretty relaxed for once.

The cod and chips from the takeaway were lovely. The batter was so light and crisp, and the fish inside was really fresh. The slush puppy was a nice touch on a warm evening. Just a solid, tasty meal.

Grabbed a quick ham, egg &amp; chips for lunch. The ham was nicely thick-cut, eggs runny just right. The cafeti&egrave;re of Italian roast coffee went perfectly with it. Simple stuff, but they nailed it.

They&#39;ve got a dog menu, which was a nice surprise. Our pup got a little bowl of something, seemed happy with it. Makes it easier to stop in for a quick bite when we&#39;re out walking.

Loved the vibe here! So many potted plants, felt like a little jungle. Perfect for a lazy Sunday catch-up with mates. The avocado toast was decent, coffee hit the spot. A bit of a wait for a table though.

The free drink top-ups were a nice touch, even though the cafe was packed. Food was tasty and plentiful.

The beef cheek was lovely and tender. The staff were so attentive and friendly, which made the whole evening really pleasant.

The open mic night was a nice surprise. Some really good local singers, a few covers but mostly original stuff. The owner was friendly, chatted with everyone between sets. Made for a relaxed evening.

Decent Sunday lunch, the food felt like a good home-cooked meal. The beer was fine and the price was reasonable. Staff were friendly enough, though the place got a bit loud later on.

Lee was so good with our little one. He kept her entertained while we ate, made the whole meal way less stressful. Really appreciated that.

The staff were really on it. My dessert came out with the wrong topping, but they noticed before I even said anything and had it swapped out in a minute.

Lamb madras and chicken naga shotkari. My usual order, never disappoints.
