The Sunday roast is what I come for. Massive portions, the beef was tender and the Yorkshire puddings were clearly homemade. Gravy had a good depth of flavour. It's a solid, no-fuss roast.

The mussels in white wine cream were lovely, and the broth was delicious. We used the bread and fries to soak it all up. For the price though, the portion felt a bit small.

Decided to try the hotel restaurant for a quick bite. The two-course set menu was about £25. Portions were decent, not huge, but enough for the price. You get what you pay for here.

Nice spot just off the main road. The lasagne was pretty good, and the Eton mess was decent. Service was friendly, if a little slow.

A nice spot for a relaxed coffee. The staff were really welcoming to my dog, which makes things so much easier. We tried the halloumi toast, it was tasty. A comfortable place to stop in.

Stopped in for a quick bite. They had a fire going which was nice on a cold day. Staff were really chill and even gave our dogs a few treats. 👍

Lovely spot for a drink by the water. The patio view is just perfect for unwinding. They had a local musician playing last night, which was a nice touch. A bit pricey for the cocktails, but you're paying for that view.

The menu had so many pizza and pasta choices, it was a bit hard to decide. The portions are really generous though, which I appreciate. The staff were very patient while we looked through everything.

Been coming here for years. Always a solid choice for a pint. The landlord really knows his stuff, can tell you about every beer on tap. Good selection of local ales.

Lovely village pub, perfect for a sunny afternoon in the garden. Had the fish and chips, which was decent. The real star was the local ale they had on tap – a crisp, hoppy number that paired brilliantly with the food. Just wish they had a few more options by the glass.

The set meal for two was lovely. The wine pairing was spot on, and the staff were so attentive without being intrusive. Just felt really relaxed the whole time.

I always stop by for my morning coffee. It's consistently good, and I appreciate that it doesn't cost a fortune. The space itself is really pleasant, which makes taking a moment to enjoy it feel easy. A solid, reliable spot.

Service was friendly and prompt. Food was decent, but the sauces on the fish were a bit heavy for me.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Fish and chips came out fast and hot, perfect when you're short on time. Staff were friendly and efficient. The toilets were a nice bonus, spacious and clean. Just what you need for a speedy bite.

The menu had some nice lighter options, which I appreciated. I went for the grilled salmon salad – the greens were really fresh and crisp. The portion was just right for a weeknight dinner. The car park did fill up quickly though, so we had to park further down the street.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, which really made the evening relaxed. The atmosphere was lovely too. My only small note is that the seating is a bit close together, but the service more than made up for it.

Nice spot for a quiet dinner. The vibe is clean and relaxed, just what we needed. Had the grilled sea bass, which was simple but cooked well. Service was fine, nothing fancy. A bit on the pricier side for what it is, but okay for a casual catch-up.

The team here really gets it. Asked for a bit more garlic in the pasta and a tweak to the spice level, and it was no issue at all. Paired it with a lovely Barbera that cut through the richness perfectly. Makes for a relaxed evening.

The delivery drivers are always friendly, and the staff in the shop are helpful if you have a query. Food is pretty good, though the wait can be a bit long on busy evenings.

The set menu on Tuesday was such a find. The food was genuinely good, and for that price? A proper steal. Just a lovely, uncomplicated little treat.

Booked for a weekend lunch, it was packed. The grilled salmon was the highlight for me – really fresh, and the portion of greens alongside was generous. Simple, honest cooking with good ingredients. Just what I was after.

Looks tiny from outside but it's huge inside! Perfect for a big group. We shared a few pizzas, the toppings were so fresh. Good for a casual catch-up with mates.

Had the blue cheese ice cream for dessert. Sounds odd, but it worked. Sat by the fire, which was nice on a chilly night. Decent portion for the price.

Lovely walk to get here. The beer garden is beautiful, and the views are just insane. They're really dog-friendly too – water bowls, treats, and even poo bags are provided.

Keagan provided excellent service during our bottomless brunch. The drinks were quick to arrive and delicious, making the celebration even more special.

Quick bite at the station. The vibe is just right for a tired traveler—unhurried, simple. Had the chicken curry, decent portion. It's not fancy, but it hits the spot when you're just passing through.

Came for lunch with a few mates. The chicken tikka flatbread was a proper portion and so good! Beth was lovely, and the chef even popped out to say hello. Nice spot for a catch-up.

Nice little pub, staff were super friendly and knew the menu inside out. I asked about a couple of the local ales and got a proper chat about them. Felt very welcome just popping in for a pint.
