The Sunday roast here was proper good, the beef just fell apart. Desserts were unreal too, we basically had to be rolled out after. Live music was a nice touch, not too loud that you couldn&#39;t chat. Would defo come back with the group for a lazy afternoon.

Stopped in on a whim, glad I did. The scallops were spot on, really well seared. Had the sea bass too, flaked perfectly. Wine list is mostly Italian, found a nice bottle that didn&#39;t break the bank. Place was a bit busy, but service kept up alright. Wouldn&#39;t mind going back to try more.

Stopped in for a quick bite and a drink. The amaretto sour by the fire hit the spot after a long day. Bartender was on it, kept the drinks coming without hovering. Place was a bit quiet for my taste, but that worked fine for a relaxed sit-down. Solid spot if you want a proper cocktail without the fuss.

Stayed overnight in the car park with the campervan and the staff were dead sound about it. Even stuck the rugby on the telly for us. Fair play to them.

We popped in here twice while staying nearby and honestly the pistachio ice cream with Irish coffee is the one ☕️ like I&rsquo;m still thinking about it. Service was really attentive too, made it easy to just chill with the girls after a long day. Only thing is it got a bit busy later on, but that&rsquo;s on us for timing. Would happily go back.

The spot itself is grand &mdash; right near the car park, so handy. Staff were grand but seemed a bit bored, and our food took about 10 minutes longer than expected. Not mad about it though.

The wagyu beef burger was properly seasoned, really tasty. Only thing is they cook them well done, but the chips made up for it. Nice selection of alcohol-free drinks too.

Stopped in for a bite after work. The live music on Saturday was decent, not too loud. Had the dinner special, fish and chips I think it was. Solid enough. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Breakfast did the job. Nothing fancy, but you know what you&#39;re getting. Fine for a local.

The pizza&#39;s still spot on after all these visits. Family deal feeds us all without breaking the bank.

Stopped by for lunch on a sunny day and grabbed a seat on the covered patio. Heat lamps were a nice touch. Penne alla vodka was solid, creamy without being heavy. Pizza held up well too. Debbie took care of us, checked in just enough without hovering. Wouldn&#39;t mind coming back when the weather cooperates again.

Waited nearly two hours for mains on a busy night. They comped a drink as an apology, which was decent. Food made up for it though.

The sirloin steak was proper good&mdash;medium rare just as I asked, really juicy. Prawn cocktail starter was decent too, plenty of prawns in it. Place was busy enough on a Tuesday night but we got seated quick. Only thing, the chips could&#39;ve been hotter. Still, I&#39;d go back for that steak again.

Got a table straight away on a Friday night, which never happens. The duck breast was cooked properly, pink in the middle like it should be. Pork apricot was decent too, though I&#39;d say the duck was the better of the two. Staff were sound, looked after us well enough. Place was busy but we weren&#39;t rushed.

Decent curry house. Staff knew their menu, pointed us to a good mixed thali. Portion size was fair for the price. Service was quick enough, no complaints.

The curries and crispy duck are always spot on. Portion size is decent for what you pay, though I wouldn&#39;t say it&#39;s cheap. The dining room looks fancier than the bill suggests, which is a nice surprise. Staff were polite enough. I&#39;d stick to eating in rather than getting a takeaway, the food just hits different when it&#39;s fresh.

Came here with a couple of friends after hearing good things. The seafood chowder is seriously loaded&mdash;fish, mussels, the lot. Rich and creamy, exactly what you want on a cold day. Portion was decent too. Place got pretty busy by the time we left, but we managed to grab a table easy enough. Would happily go back for that chowder again 😊
