Monkfish scampi was the special today. Really surprised me – the texture was spot on, not rubbery at all. Didn't expect scampi to be that good.

Nice little spot in Newry. My crispy bacon and avocado bagel was spot on, and my friend's poached eggs looked good. The real star was the coffee though—rich and smooth, it just made the whole brunch. Staff were friendly. A solid choice for a casual bite.

The food arrived piping hot, which I really appreciate. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. The staff was attentive with our group of six, including two little ones. A solid choice for a family meal.

Been coming here for years. Had a big group of 30 for lunch last week. They handled it without a fuss, which is no small thing. Food was good as always. They were really decent with my son, too. Makes a difference.

First time here, just dropped in. The pancakes and sausage were a hit with my little one. Staff were really friendly, food came out quick. Everything felt fresh and clean.

The three-course meal really stood out, better than I'd hoped. Staff were on it, but not hovering. My main arrived just a touch cool, a small thing. Still, a really good evening.

The room was spacious and spotless. The hosts were lovely, and their local wine recommendation was a perfect match for the evening.

Nice spot for a quick coffee break. The decor is a bit quirky but cosy. Coffee was good, they have gluten-free stuff which is handy. Perfect for a solo stop or a casual catch-up. Got my order fast, just what I needed.

Saw a couple of wrong dishes go to other tables while waiting. My own pasta was good, but my friend's risotto was a bit undercooked. Shame, as the place has a nice vibe.

Great coffee, and they open for lunch nice and early. The wine list is decent too, which is a pleasant surprise for a cafe.

The view of the sea and Mourne mountains was incredible. Made our catch-up lunch feel extra special.

The staff here are so lovely! My friend was a bit tired and they noticed, offering her a comfier chair without us even asking. It’s the little things that make a place good for a catch-up. Food was decent, but that thoughtful touch really stood out.

The sandwiches here are something else. Had the roast beef on rye, and it was just spot on. The hot food looked good too, but I was all about the sandwich this time. A solid lunch spot.

Proper fish and chips. The haddock was so fresh, the batter was light and crisp. The onion rings were a highlight, not greasy at all. A really nice, simple meal. The staff were friendly too.

Been coming here for years. The white chocolate sauce with the ice cream is still the one thing I always order.

The coffee here is just right. And those traybakes? I had a slice of the lemon drizzle, it was so good. Service is always spot-on, never feels rushed. A really nice little spot.

Breakfast is solid. The home-baked scones and pancakes are the highlight. Service was efficient, which is what I need before a meeting. Good spot if you're in the area.

Service is consistently efficient and helpful. Staff are always attentive without being intrusive.

The fish and chips were really fresh, the batter was light and crispy. The peas on the side tasted like they were just shelled. Portions are generous, maybe a bit too much for me! A solid choice for a hearty, fresh meal.

The pancakes with bacon were good, but for the price I expected a bigger portion.
