Been coming here for years for a quiet breakfast. The coffee's always spot on, a proper strong brew. That's what keeps me coming back. The space is nice and calm, good for reading the paper.

Good Mexican option in Edinburgh. The homemade chips and dips are a definite plus. Service is consistently attentive.

The weekday lunch menu is a proper steal. Grabbed the set before 4pm and honestly, for central London, the quality you get for that price is hard to beat. Just a solid, no-fuss meal.

Been coming here for years, and the coffee is always spot on. That's what keeps me coming back. The space is nice and the art is cool, but honestly, I'm just here for a reliably good flat white. It's my go-to spot when I need to just sit and think for a bit.

Popped in for a Nutella hot chocolate. It was nice, but I did notice it was quite sweet. I appreciate when places use good quality ingredients, so I'd be curious to know what kind of chocolate they use. The staff were very friendly.

The scrambled eggs were just right, not dry at all. I asked if I could have a smaller portion and the server was so nice about it, checked with the kitchen straight away. Made ordering really easy for me.

The croissants here are a solid choice for a quick breakfast. They're flaky and not overly sweet, which I appreciate. The coffee is okay, but I really wish they offered a non-dairy milk option. It's a simple, affordable spot.

Stopped by this cafe in the garden for a coffee after visiting the castle. The vibe is definitely chill, which I liked. But the coffee itself was just okay. For the price they're charging, I was expecting something a bit better. It's fine for the location, but not a standout.

The marinated meats are the star here. Really tender and packed with flavour. Staff were on it, swapping the grill plates without being asked.

I was impressed by their dedicated vegan menu, loads of options from starters to mains. The food was really tasty. The wine list had a few interesting natural reds that paired nicely with the heartier dishes. A solid spot for a plant-based meal with good drinks.

Student discount is a nice touch, makes it a go-to for a quick coffee with friends. Prices are definitely better than other spots nearby. We grabbed lattes and just hung out for a bit. Good for a casual catch-up.

The soy latte was really good, creamy and not too sweet. Sat there for a while just enjoying it with that view of the castle. The staff were nice, but honestly, I just remember the coffee.

The smoked salmon and cream cheese was delicious, and I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted. A lovely spot for a light lunch.

Been coming here for years now. The sausage roll is the one thing I always get - just the right amount of flaky pastry and a proper, savoury filling. It's been consistently good every single time. That's why I keep coming back.

The scrambled eggs here are done just right, with that soft, runny yolk. It's a simple dish but they've nailed it. Portion was decent for the price, felt like a proper breakfast without breaking the bank.

The tangerine sorbet was spot on - really fresh and zingy. My friend's ice cream looked great too. The staff were lovely, no rush at all. Just a nice, relaxed spot for a sweet treat.

Food was super tasty, service was quick and friendly. Portions were decent for the price, definitely felt like I got my money's worth. Wish it wasn't such a drive from my place.

As someone who needs to watch what I eat, I really appreciate this place. They take allergies seriously and always have a solid gluten-free choice on the menu. Makes dining out stress-free.

Blueberry pancakes were a solid choice. Fluffy, moist, and loaded with berries. Got them during a busy lunch hour, and they came out surprisingly quick. Perfect for a fast, satisfying bite.

Grabbed the eggs benedict with haggis and black pudding for a quick breakfast. Portions were huge, couldn't finish it all. Got me through the morning just fine. Solid spot for a fast, filling bite.

The chicken jalfrezi was the star for me, honestly. So flavourful and authentic. The peshwari naan was perfect with it, just sweet enough. Really solid meal.

The Angus lasagna is the star here. So rich and perfectly layered. Service in the cosy dining room was spot-on, attentive without being fussy. A lovely, quiet lunch.

The steak and ale pie was the reason I stopped in. The filling was really good, rich and meaty. The crust was nice and buttery. Had a whisky with it, which hit the spot. Just what I needed.

The khachapuri was lovely and fresh, and the portions are definitely generous. I really appreciated how comfortable the seating was - we didn't feel rushed at all, which made for a relaxed lunch.

The Biscoff French toast was spot on, not too sweet. Paired nicely with a black coffee to cut through the richness.

The carvery here is fantastic, with a great selection of meats and vegetables. The staff, especially Chelsea, provided excellent service and made our visit enjoyable.

I loved the friendly service at Oink! The staff were helpful and made great recommendations for toppings to pair with the pork.

I loved the Wee taste of Scotland taster menu! It exceeded my expectations and introduced me to new flavors. The staff made our celebration special, and I can't wait to return for another amazing meal.
