The salmon in the poke bowl was super fresh. A server told me the owner's brother runs a fish market nearby, so that makes sense.

The vibe here is so fun on a Saturday night! Perfect for catching up with friends, even if it gets a bit loud when it's packed.

The fish and chips were lovely. The batter was light and crispy, and the smoked haddock was very fresh. My only small note is that the booth seating felt a bit cramped for a longer meal.

Breakfast menu is a highlight. Went for the eggs royale and my partner had the shakshuka. Both were solid, but the portions felt a bit on the smaller side for the price. Still, a decent spot for something different.

The baklava was really good, honestly some of the best around. A great way to end the meal. But for a single piece, the price did feel a bit steep.

Food was a 4/5 but the amazing service bumped it up to a 5/5! The staff really went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience.

This venue is a gem for live shows! The acoustics are excellent, and the vibe is always lively. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a night out with great music.

The chicken burger here was spot on. Juicy, not too big, and the bun held up well. Washed it down with a cold Pravha. Solid choice for a laid-back bite.

Lovely spot to unwind with a chai. The staff are genuinely warm, which makes a difference. Little drawings on the latte foam are a sweet touch, my heart was a bit lopsided but it made me smile. 😊

The vegan goulash with potato pancakes was really good, rich and hearty. You could tell the ingredients were fresh. The affogato was spot on too. Portions are decent for the price. A solid choice for Czech food done plant-based.

The staff were so kind. I asked if they could make a hot toddy, and they whipped one up for me even though it wasn't listed. Used simple syrup instead of honey, but it was really nice. Just a very comfortable spot to unwind.

The view from the 11th floor is the real star here. Sat out on the deck with a drink, the 360-degree panorama of Edinburgh was just brilliant. A great spot to relax.

Staff were really friendly, made me feel welcome straight away. Atmosphere is relaxed but still feels a bit fancy, good for when you want something a bit special. Nice place.

The steak was a bit over for my liking, but honestly, it was still really good. The wine list had some nice finds. Service was spot on.

Booked ahead for a Friday evening, which was definitely needed. It was packed but they handled the crowd smoothly. Our server was on it, even when things got hectic. No complaints about the service at all.

Decent value, but the wasabi was a bit weak. The fried noodles portion was huge compared to everything else, felt a bit random.

The chicken gyros was huge, honestly. Came with a mountain of fries and warm pita. More than enough for two, no question.

Breakfast spot. Poached eggs with haggis and chili jam were a real treat. Service was fine, but had to wait a bit for water. Quick seating though.

Truffle fries were tasty, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. I noticed they use blue cheese instead of mozzarella on some dishes, which is a different choice.

Great location, just a few minutes from Waverley. The owner was lovely, really welcoming. Had to get the starter salad - fresh, crisp leaves with a sharp vinaigrette. A simple dish done well.

The staff here are so friendly and remember what I usually order. That personal touch really makes a difference.

Menu changes keep it interesting. The wine pairings are spot on, and the staff are really friendly. It's my go-to spot in town now.

The deluxe porridge was the highlight. Creamy oats with a generous mix of nuts and seeds, plus a side of honey. The avocado toast on sourdough was fine, but the porridge is the one to get.

The tasting menu was lovely. I particularly appreciated how fresh and seasonal the ingredients were in each course. The wine pairings matched the clean flavours perfectly. A very thoughtful meal.

The butter chicken is smooth and the lamb shank is very tender. Garlic naan and mushroom rice were good sides. Service was prompt and efficient, which I appreciate. A solid choice for a business dinner.

Cocktails are really creative here. The flavour combos are something new for me, and the price is fair.

The seafood platter was the highlight. The trout pastrami had a lovely cure, and the dressed crab was spot on. Oysters were fresh and briny, just right. A solid choice for sharing.

The red curry had a lovely depth of flavour, and the prawn tempura was perfectly crisp. The wine list was a pleasant surprise – found a really nice Riesling that cut through the richness beautifully. Menu's got loads of tempting options, will have to go back to try more.

Came here with a few friends. It's got that classic, no-fuss vibe and loads of tables, so we could all spread out. Really clean and comfy, perfect for a group catch-up.

Been back a few times since they opened. The kitchen doesn't overcomplicate things. The scallops last night were just seared, tasted purely of themselves. That's the point here.
