Been coming here for years. Staff always friendly, and the food's just good, honest homemade stuff. Prices are fair for what you get. It's a reliable spot.

Nice quick lunch spot. The free dessert and amuse-bouche were a nice surprise, really appreciated that. Owner and staff are friendly. Food came out fast, which is what I needed.

Been coming here for years. As a meat eater, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the mushroom starter. Flavours are rich and authentic, you honestly don't miss the meat. A solid spot.

The amaretto sour was well-balanced and a great match for my steak. Solid drinks list overall.

Service was prompt and efficient. Staff were knowledgeable about the menu and gave solid recommendations. They checked in at the right times without being overbearing. A very smooth experience.

The Onam Sadhya was a lovely, generous spread. The seats were comfortable, which made the long meal very relaxing.

The Bresola pizza was a standout, the dough had a perfect chew. I was really impressed by their wine list, found a nice Italian red that paired beautifully with the salty prosciutto. Emma's service was spot on. The place itself is stylish, though it got a bit loud later in the evening.

The 3-tapas-and-dessert deal was a solid way to sample the menu. Staff were really helpful with my dietary questions.

The Chateaubriand for two was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender. The real star for me was the cocktail we had to finish the meal—a complex, smoky old fashioned that paired so well with the rich beef. Staff were lovely.

Been coming here for years, and their Pad Thai is still spot on. Always fresh, never greasy. Portion is just right for the price.

Sushisamba is a must-visit for anyone in Edinburgh. The combination of delicious food, quality drinks, and breathtaking views creates an unforgettable dining experience.

The special pho here is huge! Got a massive, tender piece of beef in mine. Honestly couldn't finish it all, which is pretty rare for me. Really good value for what you pay.

The service was exceptional, with staff being warm and attentive throughout our meal. The Croque Sando was a standout dish that I can't wait to have again!

Perfect for a quick bite. Prices are fair, and you can bring your own wine. Got my food in under 10 minutes, which is a huge plus for a lunch break. Solid spot.

Prices were spot on for what you get. My pho was huge and packed with flavour, felt like a proper taste of Hanoi. All in, with a drink and dessert, it was about £25. Good find.

Lovely spot at Fort Kinnaird, easy parking. The restaurant is smart and the seating is really comfortable, which I appreciate. Had a relaxed lunch here, very easy and pleasant. Just a nice, straightforward place for a casual bite.

Staff were lovely even on a packed Saturday. They kept their cool, which was impressive given the rush. My main was a bit slow, but they checked in and were genuinely apologetic.

Lovely old-school pub, feels very Scottish. The Balmoral Chicken was spot on, really tasty. But the portion was a bit on the small side for the price, to be honest. Left me wanting just a little more.

Popped in for a quick lunch with a mate. The Thai soup was really warming and the panini was spot on. We ended up staying ages just chatting over decaf tea. It's that kind of relaxed place where you don't feel rushed out.

Dropped by late on a Monday. The duck and dumplings were really good, and they came out super quick.

Came for the Masu Bhat Tarkari Thali and it was spot on. The curry had so much flavour and the spice level was just right for me. Really enjoyed that.

The Guinness was spot on, honestly the best pint we had on the trip. The place itself is nice and relaxed, good for families. Just a heads up though, it's not the cheapest spot for a pint.

Came for a quiet pint. The place is warm and the staff are really nice, made me feel comfortable straight away. Good spot to unwind after a long day. Prices are fair for the area, didn't feel like I was overpaying for a drink.

Been here for breakfast a couple of times now. The Lorne sausage roll is spot on, really hits the spot. Fresh orange juice is good too. Decent way to start the day.

Great spot for a quick pint. The beer selection is solid, and service is fast. Cozy pub vibe.

Great coffee, and the staff suggested a nice wine to go with it. Cozy spot, a bit pricier than the chains but worth it for the quality.

Had the haggis, neeps and tatties. Solid version, one of the better ones I've had. Partner's whisky flight was a good selection. Reliable spot for straightforward Scottish food.

Lovely spot for a quiet catch-up. The lighting is so soft and the booths are super comfy - we ended up staying for hours just chatting. Perfect for a relaxed evening with friends.

Had a decent lunch at the pub downstairs. The atmosphere was pretty cool and relaxed. Staff were friendly, service was fine. A solid spot for something casual.

The bar staff were really friendly and quick, always with a smile. It made a difference on a busy Friday night when we were just grabbing a quick drink. Good service like that is a nice bonus.
