Willie and Sasha were so nice. Willie suggested the crab dip, which was spot on. Sasha even gave us a couple of ideas for places to walk to after dinner. Service like that makes a difference.

The salmon was spot-on, and that apple tart? Fresh out of the oven, still warm. The view of the Inner Harbor was a nice bonus while we ate.

The Scooch sandwich is a standout. Been coming here for years, and it's just a really solid, flavorful sandwich. The bread is always fresh, and the fillings are generous. It's my go-to lunch in the neighborhood.

The raw bar here is a treat. I love that you can mix and match the oysters. Tried a few different kinds last night and they were all super fresh.

Been coming here for years, and their hash browns are always on point. Crispy outside, soft inside, never greasy. That consistency is why I keep coming back. The eggs are always cooked right too, but honestly, it's those hash browns that do it for me.

Saturday brunch with the family. The banana chocolate chip pancakes were the star - fluffy, with real banana chunks and just enough chocolate. Scrambled eggs were creamy, and that cranberry maple turkey sausage had a nice sweet-savory kick. Everyone cleaned their plates.

Quick service for our group of five. The waiter took our orders by memory, and the food was hot and fresh in under 10 minutes.

The Tour of Chiapparelli's was a fun way to sample things. The fettuccine really stood out to me—the pasta had a great texture, and the sauce was rich without being too heavy. Everything else was good, but that dish was the highlight.

Convenient spot inside the Horseshoe. Free downtown parking is a huge plus. Food came out fast, service was quick. Solid for a bite before hitting the tables.

Been coming here for years. The trout is always solid, and the buckwheat crepes actually have a nice bite to them. You'd never guess they're gluten-free.

Stuffed French toast is my go-to for a quick bite. They get it out fast, which is key for me. The breakfast potatoes are always crispy and seasoned just right. Perfect for a rushed lunch break.

Always check the tap list here. They rotate some interesting craft beers, and I found a local IPA that paired really well with my pepperoni pizza. Solid spot for a casual bite and a good pint.

Crab cake sandwich was solid. Lots of lump crab, not much filler. Sat outside by the water, felt like Key West for a minute. Good spot.

Nice little spot for ice cream downtown. The black tea flavor was pretty good, though the portion felt a bit small for the price.

The baby octopus skewer was amazing, but the portion was a bit small for the price. Sashimi was fresh.

The kiosks are super easy to use, which is nice when you just want a quick meal. My burger was made fresh and still perfectly warm when I got home. A good spot for takeout.

The outdoor patio is a nice spot, but honestly, the indoor AC is what saved us. It was a total lifesaver on that scorching day. We could actually enjoy our meal without melting.

The live jazz brunch is so relaxing. I really appreciate how fresh the ingredients are in their dishes.

No. 9 of Bars in Washington D.C.

Love the lively Latin music and colorful decor here. The food is tasty, but what stood out to me was the freshness of the ingredients in my salad. Everything tasted so crisp and clean. A nice spot for a healthy, flavorful meal.

Been coming here for years, and the bagels are always fresh. That's what keeps me coming back. They're chewy, not too dense, and just taste right. The coffee's decent too. It's my go-to spot when I need a reliable breakfast.

Coffee's always solid here, nice and strong. I'm a fan of the oat milk option and that there's no upcharge for it. Makes my morning stop easy.

The bartenders are so warm. Chuck and Beatriz remembered my name from last time, which was a really nice touch. It's that kind of personal attention that makes you want to come back.

The salmon chazuke was pretty good, nicely seasoned. Came with a fresh pot of tea, which was a nice touch. The space itself is quaint and comfortable. A solid, quiet spot for a simple meal.

The private dinner for our group of 30 was handled well. The family-style menu worked fine, and the service was attentive.

Tried their flight of mini scoops! Perfect for sharing with friends so we could all try the guava passion fruit sorbet. It was super refreshing and just the right amount.

Ruth was so thoughtful about our nut allergy. She double-checked everything in the kitchen, which put me at ease. You don't see that level of care often.
