Been here a few times now, food's always solid. The plating looks great and the staff are friendly. Good lunch spot, just gets a bit loud when it's busy.

The Maultaschen were solid, pasta was good too. Place looked a bit understaffed but we still got our food fast. Nice spot for a casual dinner.

The upper lounge is really cozy—we ended up staying way longer than planned. Food was creative and well-made, especially for such a small kitchen.

We sat outside on the terrace and the mountain view was honestly the best part. I got the schnitzel and it was crispy, exactly how I like it. Portion was big enough that I couldn't finish. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Just a chill place to hang out for a couple hours.

The owner runs the whole show herself—definitely adds a personal touch. Traditional Swiss dishes done right, though it was a bit busy when we went. Pretty good spot.

Stayed here for a couple nights and honestly the location is the main selling point. Right in the middle of Holzgau but still quiet at night. Room was fine, nothing fancy, but that mountain view from the window was nice to wake up to. The activity card that came with the stay covered the local bus and gondola, which saved us some money. For what we paid, I thought it was fair. Just don't expect luxury.

The calzone was seriously good, probably the best I’ve had in a while. Prices are fair too. Decor’s a bit old-school, but honestly didn’t care. 😄

The croissants were properly flaky, buttery, not those sad dry ones you get at chain places. You can tell someone in the kitchen actually cares about the lamination. I grabbed one to go with my coffee and it held up well, didn't crumble everywhere. Would come back just for that.

The pizza dough is fantastic—I even eat the crust, which says a lot. Toppings were balanced, not overloaded. The mixed salad on the side was fresh, too. Ended with an espresso, though I wished they had a proper digestif to pair with it. Solid spot for a casual bite.

The pizza here is huge—like, genuinely massive. I ordered one thinking I could finish it, but ended up taking half home. Bruschetta was a solid starter too. Service was quick and the staff seemed chill. Just don't come alone unless you're starving.

The Zwiebelrostbraten was spot on again — crispy onions, tender beef, that dark beer sauce is why I keep coming back. Just wish they’d pour a little more sauce on the plate.

The filet steak was cooked exactly how I asked. Simple menu, nothing fancy, but the meat quality came through. I liked that they didn't drown it in sauce or over-season. Just clean, honest food. Portion was decent for the price too. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Loved the truffle pasta here, super creamy and rich. We were a big group of 11 and the staff handled it well. A bit loud but that's part of the vibe.

Easy to get to, right next to the big public parking lot. That alone makes it a good stop for a late dinner. I liked that I didn't have to worry about finding a spot. The food was decent and the service was friendly enough. Just a simple, no-stress meal. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Pizza was big and loaded with toppings, staff kept checking in. Bruschetta lacked flavor, but the main dish made up for it. Decent spot if you're nearby.

Came here on a random evening, grabbed a table outside. Portions are solid, food was tasty — nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Service was friendly enough, didn’t have to wait long. Beer garden’s nice if you wanna sit around for a bit. Wouldn’t mind coming back.

Lovely place, live music was a nice touch. Staff really helped us out with a last-minute gift thing. Kids were happy, which is always a win. Probably the friendliest service we had in the Allgäu. Not much more to say.

Big pizza, really big. For the price it's fair, especially for this area. I got the pasta too, portion was generous. Just wish they had more veggie options on the menu. Cash only, so keep that in mind before you go.

The seafood platter was fresh, and watching planes take off while eating is pretty cool. Service a bit slow though.

The cheese fondue here is the real deal—that house blend with Appenzeller, Gruyère, and Vacherin has a proper kick to it. Bread and pickles on the side just work. They brought an English menu without me asking, which was nice. Service was friendly, no complaints.

The lunch menu had a sea bass that was cooked just right. I appreciated that the salads were fresh and generous, not just a sad little side plate. The old building gives it a nice atmosphere, though I did wish there were a few more vegetable options on the main courses. Still, a solid spot for a light lunch.

Been coming here for a while now. The meat dishes are always on point, cooked just right every single time. Place is comfortable, easy to get to. Only thing is dessert can take a bit, but I keep coming back for the food anyway.

The grilled fish was spot on—flaky inside, crispy skin. Ingredients tasted properly fresh. Service kept up without hovering. Solid spot.

The schnitzel here is really solid — meat stays tender and the breading has that proper crunch. It’s not cheap, but you can tell they do it right. I sat near the window and the light was nice, made the whole meal feel a bit more relaxed. Would come back if I’m craving that again.

Stopped by after seeing the castle from the road—got lucky with a table. The cheese soup was good, though I wished for more greens on the plate. View definitely made it nicer.

Service was spot on - friendly but not hovering. They swapped a side for me without any fuss and the wine suggestion actually worked well with my dish. Owner came by for a quick chat, funny guy. Made the whole thing feel more personal. Only thing, place got a bit loud later on. Still, solid experience.

Been coming here for years now. The pizza's still got that same crisp bottom and the sauce isn't too sweet. Had the margherita again last night, simple but done right. Place gets busy around 7, so I usually grab a seat early. Not the cheapest slice in town, but you pay for what you get.

The building’s gorgeous, real old-school vibe. Food was solid but a bit pricey for the portions. Service was quick and friendly though. 👍

The lunch menu is where it’s at—€12 for a decent-sized pizza that actually fills you up. Quality ingredients, you can taste it. Place looks nice and modern, but it gets loud around noon, so don’t plan on a quiet chat. Fine for a quick bite though. I’d come back for the price alone.

The Kässpätzle here are seriously good. Big portion, cheesy, exactly what I needed on a cold evening. Place was quiet when I went, which I liked. Staff let me take my time. Just a solid, no-fuss spot.
