The black nose lamb was the real deal—tender, savoury, no gamey taste at all. We got the rack for two and honestly, it could’ve fed three. The lamb burger with raclette was good too, but rich. Definitely a share plate. Service was fine, nothing special, but the food did the talking.

The Swiss steak was the kind of tender that makes you slow down and actually taste. Lamb chops too, honestly. Staff handled a special request without blinking, which I appreciated. Grilled shrimp were good but the steak stayed with me. Place has a quiet confidence to it. Maybe a bit pricey, but I left feeling like I'd been somewhere.

The cheese fondue was spot on—white wine came through nicely without being too sharp. Liked that they served roasted potatoes alongside instead of the usual boiled ones. Made a big difference honestly. Place was busy but we got seated quick enough. Would come back just for that fondue.

The chef literally grills every piece himself and brings it to your table. That personal touch made the whole dinner feel way more special than just another steak night. We came with a few friends and ended up staying way longer than planned. Only thing is the place is small so you kinda sit close to strangers, but honestly that added to the vibe 😄

Came here for lunch after a hike. Salmon ravioli was pretty good, hit the spot. The view is the main draw, honestly. Food was decent and service was fine. Made it a proper meal rather than just a quick stop. Maybe a bit busy, but that's expected.

The cheese fondue with vegetables and potatoes was really good. Fresh ingredients, you could taste it in the veggies. Service was friendly too, though it took a bit to get the bill. Nice spot if you're in the mood for something hearty but not too heavy.

The buffet spread was solid, lots of tasty options. Staff really looked after us, even gave my kid some puzzles and pencils to keep busy. Nice touch.

The white wine soup really stood out — rich and comforting. Staff were friendly too. Would’ve liked a bit more bread on the side, but honestly a solid lunch stop.

The beef goulash with polenta was exactly what I needed after a long day—rich, hearty, and the meat just fell apart. I had a glass of the house red with it, which worked nicely. Service stayed quick even though the place was packed. The alpen macaroni was solid too, though I'd skip it if you're really hungry. Fair prices for the portion size.

The Matterhorn view from the terrace is unreal, and the rösti with egg and cheese is the best I've had in Zermatt. A perfect lunch stop on the slopes.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. The electronic wine list caught my eye—huge selection, especially the Valais ones. Food was solid, service fast enough for a midday break. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd grab a bite here again.

The tagliatelle tasted properly fresh, not like something reheated in a back kitchen. Right by the station, so it's easy to pop in before catching a train. Service was quick, almost too quick—felt a bit rushed. But for a casual bite in Zermatt, it does the job.

The gluten-free pizza was a solid choice—told them ahead of time and they handled it without fuss. Portion was generous, I actually couldn't finish it all. Brownie after was decent too. Nothing fancy, but for what you pay, you get a proper meal.

Solid pasta. Place was busy but we got a table quick. Service friendly enough, nothing crazy. Tagliatelle was the move. Bit pricey for what it is, but I'd go back.

The service at this restaurant is exceptional! The staff is attentive and friendly, making the dining experience truly enjoyable.

The view is the whole reason to come here. Self-service place, plenty of seats. Lamb leg with polenta and grilled veggies was a solid deal for 27 CHF.

The raclette was solid, and the rosti with sausage hit the spot. Chocolate fondue was too dark for me, but the staff were quick. Definitely book ahead, it fills up fast.

The salad bar was fresh, and the rösti hit the spot. Self-service keeps things quick, though it’s not the coziest vibe. Fine for a fast lunch.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the set menu, food came out fast, which I appreciated. The young staff knew what they were doing, no fuss. Had the grilled fish, pretty solid. Place was busy but I was in and out in 30 minutes. That's what I need on a lunch break.

Great food tucked away in suburb of Martigny within a hotel used for training hoteliers and chefs. Food was really good with diverse dishes from around the world and staff very friendly and attentive. We were the only diners but the restaurant decor is inviting and we had a very relaxed and enjoyable evening.

The tomahawk was cooked spot on, really juicy. Our waiter kept it light and funny too. Solid spot if you want a chill dinner.

Rooms were clean and big enough, balcony view of the mountains was really nice. Bathroom though was pretty tiny, kinda had to squeeze past the sink. Fine for a night or two, just don't expect much space in there.

Stopped by for a drink after a hike—that mountain view is something else. Staff got us seated fast, no fuss. Just wished they had a few more local beers on tap, but the one I had was cold and hit the spot. Fine spot to catch your breath before heading back down.

Stopped by for lunch, got the pizza. Crust was decent, toppings fresh. Place was packed with families, kinda loud but fine. Service was quick enough. Not a bad spot if you're in the area and want something easy. Probably wouldn't go out of my way for it though.

The fondue with shallots was solid and the portion felt right for the price. Service didn't rush us, which I appreciated. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for here.

Came with 10 people for lunch—service kept up with us, which was nice. The food hit the spot, especially the grilled fish. Place got a bit loud but that’s on us 😄

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Wine list is solid, lots of different winemakers to pick from. Got a pasta dish, portion was pretty generous for the price. Place has a nice buzz, not too loud. Service was fine, nothing crazy. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Solid spot right on the slopes. Hot chocolate came out fast and hit the spot. View is unbeatable for a quick break. Service was efficient, no complaints.

Nice spot right at the end of the ski slope. Rooms were clean and had everything I needed. Prices fair for what you get. Staff friendly enough. Good base if you're out exploring the area.
