Had the Cullen skink to start, then the roast of the day and sticky toffee pudding. Food was good, portions were decent. The menu is fairly priced and the drinks selection covers the basics. Solid choice for a business lunch in the area.

Lovely spot for a first visit. The coffee was really good, had a flat white that was just the right strength. Staff were friendly and chatty, made it feel cosy.

Solid fish and chips, crispy batter. The spicy wings had a good kick. Service was quick, staff were polite. Decent spot for a straightforward meal.

Been coming here for years. Their fish and chips are still the best around. Fish is always fresh, batter is light and crisp. Just right for a quick bite by the water.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Service wasn't the quickest, but you can tell they're focused on getting the food right, not rushing it out. Good for a business lunch where you have a bit of time.

The scone with clotted cream and jam was a lovely find. The menu is massive, though.

Nice little spot on the main street. Grabbed a coffee and a slice of their carrot cake while people-watching. The cake was really moist, not too sweet. Saw a few dogs with their owners, which was a nice vibe.

Been coming here for years. The fish and chips are the best around, honestly. Crispy batter, flaky cod. Their Guinness is proper, too. A bit pricey these days, but you get what you pay for.

The indoor play area is great for kids. Parents can actually relax and eat their meal in peace.

The staff were really friendly and attentive, even when the place was busy. They kept our water topped up without us having to ask.

The jumbo haddock was huge, just like the name says. Really fresh, and the batter was crisp without being greasy. Portion was generous for the price. Could have used a bit more seasoning, but that's just me.

Had a nice, easy dinner here. The staff were really friendly and attentive, which made everything feel relaxed. The portions are generous and everything came out quite quickly. It can get a bit loud, but it's a fun atmosphere overall.

Convenient parking for a quick stop. The outdoor seating is pretty nice on a good day.

Been coming here for years. Their scrambled eggs are always spot on, and you definitely get your money's worth.

Stopped in for the large Scottish breakfast. Sausages were really tasty and everything felt fresh. Nice spot.

The prawn tempura was light and crisp, and the pork belly just melted. But that sticky toffee pudding... honestly, it was the star. So good I almost ordered another.

The Sunday roast for two was lovely. The beef was just right, and the Yorkshire puddings were great. Perfect for a chilled Sunday catch-up with a friend.

Popped in for a Sunday roast. Jade was so nice, really made us feel welcome. The roast itself was spot on, especially the beef - so tender. Good value too. Will definitely come back.

Great for a quick bite. Charcuterie board and mussels were spot on. Service was fast and friendly.

Went for a late bite with mates. The menu is massive, which is great, but honestly the portions felt a bit small for the price. Still, it's open late when everywhere else is shut.

Perfect for a quick business lunch. They have a small meeting room and the staff is efficient.

The 'Two Main Meals' deal was a solid choice. The portions were actually pretty generous for the price, which I always appreciate. Food arrived quickly too. No complaints on that front.

The fish supper portion is huge, easily enough for two. Pairs nicely with a crisp lager to cut through the richness.

The portion for a single scoop is huge, honestly. It's more like two scoops in one. I got the pistachio and it was enough to share. Good for the price, no complaints there.

Portions are huge, and the presentation is spot on. Their fish and chips with local haddock is the star. I had a crisp lager with it, which cut through the batter perfectly. A solid choice for a classic done well.

Lovely spot by the river. We were seated upstairs and the view was just perfect. The service was friendly and unhurried, which made for a very relaxed lunch. The only slight thing was that our table was a bit wobbly, but it didn't spoil the nice atmosphere.

Wasn't planning on stopping, but the vibe pulled me in. Football on the telly but the sound was low, perfect. Just had a pint and some crisps, but the service was quick and the staff were sound. Exactly what you want from a local.
