Decent fish and chips, and I liked that they had a few non-battered options too. Perfect for a casual catch-up with mates, we ended up staying for ages just chatting. Could do with a few more sides though.

The food was actually really tasty, which was a nice surprise.

Found a proper East Indian spot. The lamb curry was spot on. Tender meat, crisp veg. Naan was fresh. Flavours were bold but not overwhelming. Hit the spot.

The vindaloo had the perfect level of heat for me. I really appreciated the saffron rice and the little salad with the yoghurt dressing alongside it. They made the whole meal feel quite balanced and comfortable.
