The cozido here was spot on, tender and full of flavor. Service gets a bit messy when it's packed, but for a quick bite, it works.

The cozido das Furnas was properly tender and had that smoky taste you can't fake. Portion easily fed two of us. Just book ahead, it fills up fast.

The bolo levedo was warm and fluffy, pretty good as a starter. Grilled tuna was fresh but a bit overcooked for my taste. Squid was spot on though.

The cozido was a massive portion and really tasty, but no sharing allowed. Price felt fair for what you get.

The cozido here is something else. Meat so tender it just falls apart, and the portion... honestly, way too much for one person. I couldn't finish it. Book a day ahead, they need the time. The white wine from Pico island went perfectly with it though. Wish I had more room in my stomach.

Bifana was solid. Toasted chicken too. Place looks a bit rough around the edges, but honestly who cares when the food’s this good and cheap. Would go back just for that sandwich.

The cozido was the star — massive portion, meat fell apart tender. Didn't care much about the garden or staff, but that dish alone was worth it.

Good was delicious. We ordered the two entrees the waiter suggested, steak and seared tuna. Both were delicious. Highly recommend having reservations.

The homemade dessert was the star, honestly. So creamy and rich but not overly sweet, which I loved. We came with a few friends and ended up sharing bites of everything. The fish was cooked well too, nothing crazy but solid. Service was friendly enough. Would come back just for that dessert again. 😊

The wine pairing here is really worth it—they pour some local varieties you don’t see everywhere. Food was tasty, staff friendly. Just wish they’d slow down between courses, felt a bit rushed.

The steak sandwich and tomato soup were spot on—flavorful and cheap. Just note the kitchen closes early, so get there in time if you want food.

Stopped here for coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. The espresso was solid, and sitting outside across from the church made it feel slower, in a good way. Not a fancy place, just a decent spot to chill for a bit. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

The food was solid, nothing fancy but tasty enough. Portions are decent for what you pay, which I always appreciate. Sat on the terrace, it's right by a quiet park so the vibe is chill. Not the cheapest spot in the area but you're paying for the location too. I'd come back if I'm in the neighborhood and want a relaxed meal without breaking the bank.

Showed up early since they don't take phone reservations. Got a table fast. The hot stone steak is a DIY thing — order it raw if you wanna cook it yourself. Kinda fun, kinda messy. Staff was nice about it. Solid quick bite if you're in the area.

Lots of pastries to choose from, though I only grabbed a few sweets. Prices felt fair and the staff were nice. Place had decent seating too.

Food was solid, but that tablet ordering thing kinda kills the vibe. Felt a bit cold, you know? Garden area is nice though. Portions are huge, definitely not for small appetites. Service was friendly enough when they actually came by. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area and craving a big meal.

Dropped by for a casual dinner with a small group. Local dishes were solid, and the house red surprised me. Easy parking out back. Service was quick enough.

The grilled fish and octopus salad were really good. Place was packed with locals, so we waited a bit for a table. Staff knew the menu well and helped us pick.

Barnacles were a first for me — fun to try, garlic bread was the real winner though. They've got all kinds of weird sea creatures on display, some still alive in the tank. Kinda cool to look at while you eat. Place felt a bit touristy but whatever. Worth it for the experience.

Panzerotti was solid — big, hot, and only €5. Picked my own fillings, tons of options which was cool. Dough was nice and crispy, cheese pulled everywhere. Maybe a bit greasy by the end but honestly for that price I’m not complaining. Would grab one again if I’m around.

A bit of a walk from the center, but the food made it worth it. The owner and her son were really kind, and spoke Portuguese with us. Simple dishes, fresh ingredients. Pretty good meal.

Big portions, that’s for sure. Food was tasty too, nothing fancy but solid. Music was loud enough to give the place some energy, not annoying. If you’re hungry and don’t mind a bit of noise, it does the job. I’d go back if I’m in the area.

The owner really knows his gelato—he even made a negroni flavor for a local cocktail week. Super friendly and happy to chat about the process. Great spot to hang with friends. 🍦

Lunch special was a solid deal with wine and coffee thrown in. The beef had that grassy, grass-fed taste though — took me a minute to get used to it.

The seafood rice for two was honestly enough for three of us. Portions are generous, no doubt about that. Menu has plenty to pick from too. Service was friendly, just had to wait a while for the food to come out. Sat near the window, chairs were comfortable enough to just relax and not rush. Fine spot if you're not in a hurry.

Cozy spot, seafood was fresh and the staff actually seemed happy we were there. Cheesecake for dessert hit the spot too.

The Francesinha hit the spot—loaded with meat and that thick sauce. A solid lunch pick, though the kitchen shutting at 3pm caught me off guard. A cold beer alongside made it work. 🍺
