Stopped by for the fish buffet—solid choice. Service was quick and friendly. Sat outside by the harbor, which made it worth it. Chicken was a bit salty, but the seafood made up for it. Fair price for what you get.

The staff were really patient with us—translated the whole menu and even let us try the ice cream before ordering. That kind of help goes a long way when you don’t speak the language. Portions were decent for the price, nothing crazy, but we left full. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

Decent spot by the harbor. Had the smoked salmon sandwich—fresh, good size. Coffee was fine too. Nice view if you grab a window seat.

The Feti pizza really hit the spot. Feta and veggies on a thin, crispy crust. Toppings felt balanced, not overloaded. Nice to find a self-serve soda fountain here, that's not common in Iceland. Would come back for that pizza again.

Stopped by for happy hour—4 to 6 daily, 1000 ISK off cocktails. That’s pretty solid for Reykjavik. Drink was well-made, not watered down. Place had a good buzz but we could still talk without yelling. Only thing is the glasses are a bit small for the price, even with the discount. Still, one of the better deals I’ve found around here.

No. 11 of Bars in Reykjavik

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Burger was decent, came out fast. Rock bar vibe is cool, outdoor area's got plenty of space. Staff didn't waste my time. Good spot if you're in a hurry and want something solid.

The staff really took their time explaining the daily specials in English, which I appreciated as a tourist. Food was solid, nothing mind-blowing but comforting.

The vegan burger was okay but pretty basic—just cheese, lettuce, and sauce. Fries were the real winner though, super crispy.

The pizza was decent, fresh ingredients and a nice thin crust. Local beer on tap was a good pick too. Just wish the lighting was a bit brighter inside.

Smoked salmon bagel was solid, toasted just right. Good drink selection too. Prices fair for the neighborhood.

The Dottir pizza really hit the spot. Toppings were generous and the crust had that nice chew. I just wish I'd gotten a bigger one, honestly. Left feeling full but already thinking about going back for another slice.

Creative dishes, really tasted like the landscape. Sommelier nailed the pairings. Room was calm with a nice view. Solid spot.

The truffle pasta was really good, and the tiramisu martini hit the spot. Julia took care of us well—never had to wait long. Fish was fresh too. Nice place to sit and relax.

Stopped in on a whim and got the lamb nihari. Meat was properly tender, fell apart easy. Chef came by to check if we wanted it spiced up. Decent spot off the tourist path.

Stopped by for a glass of wine and ended up staying longer than planned. Interior is stylish without trying too hard. Olives were a nice touch — salty, good with the wine. Wine list is solid, decent picks by the glass. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but I'd go back.

The butter chicken had a proper spicy kick, not the watered-down version you get most places. Mini naans are the move here, soft and slightly charred. Portions are a bit small for what you pay, but the flavors are interesting enough that I didn't really mind. Would come back for that sauce alone.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed a seat by the window—that harbor view really makes the place. Had the fish stew, which was hearty and fresh. Service was quick but not pushy. Only thing is it got a bit busy around noon, but that’s probably a good sign. Would come back for the atmosphere alone.

The staff remembered my no-onion request without me repeating it. Even the sauce was safe. Food reminded me of my mom's cooking, honestly.

The chicken shawarma was solid and the fries were actually a decent portion for the price. Place is easy to walk past, but it's worth the stop if you're in the area.

The Turkish feta parcels were so good—crispy outside, soft and salty inside. We grabbed a table with friends and ended up sharing the meat board too, which was way more than we expected. Halloumi was solid as well. Service was friendly, not hovering. Place got a bit loud later but we didn’t really mind 😅

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed the blue cheese burger. Cooked properly, juicy enough that I didn't need much sauce. Pairing it with a cold beer worked well, though I could see a bold red doing the trick too. Place was a bit noisy but fine for a quick bite.

Been coming here for a while now. Sandwiches are always fresh, and the staff actually remember how I like mine modified. Price is a bit steep for a sandwich, but the late-night hours keep me coming back.

Proper local pub with a solid happy hour. Music was good, place had a nice buzz. Prices felt fair for Iceland, which is saying something. Staff were friendly too.

Staff here actually remembers your order from last time. That kind of attention makes the whole meal feel easy.

The falafel avocado salad hit the spot. Fresh veggies, creamy avocado, and that yogurt on the side tied it together nicely. Light but filling. Place was a bit quiet for a weekday lunch, but that worked fine for me. I'd come back for that salad again.

The almond croissant here is seriously good—flaky, not too sweet, and the filling actually tastes like real almonds. I grabbed one before heading to the botanic garden and it hit the spot. Sandwiches looked solid too, though I didn’t try one. Service was friendly, nothing fancy. Place is small but fine for a quick stop.

Burger and ribs combo — that's the move if you're torn. Ribs were solid, burger had good juice to it. Got my food quick, no waiting around. Staff was polite enough. Fine spot for a fast lunch when you don't want to think too hard about what to eat.

Went for the fish stew. That’s it. Rich broth, tender chunks, proper seasoning. Ate it too fast, honestly. Didn’t even look at the menu after that. If you’re here, just order that and skip the rest. No need to think about it.
