This establishment is truly amazing, and the chef&#39;s creations are both whimsical and delicious.  Our sommelier was absolutely fantastic, and we got seated at the best table in the house, right in front of the wine cellar.  I cannot say enough about how friendly and wonderful the service team were.  Truly fantastic.  We loved everything we tried on the pre fixe tasting menu, and the restaurant was very happy to accomodate our dietary restrictions (I am vegetarian and my husband does not eat red meat).

We had a lovely meal at Casa Urola.  The ambiance is cozy and elegant without being pretentious. The service was gracious and friendly, and the food was excellent (we chose the lobster salad, the foie gras, the steak tartare and the spider crab donostia/style). The amuse buche was a delicious leek pur&eacute;e with smoked idazabal cheese.  A perfect evening in San Sebasti&aacute;n!

The couple that runs this restaurant is great. The cuisine, the presentation, their attitude! Everything was so good! They deserve a Michelin star!!!

Excelente restaurante from the fantastic Negronis (Americano with Gin devised by our waiter Jean) to fabulous food in a very relaxing environment. Highly recommended.

A must-visit for steak lovers! The ribeye is out of this world, and the dessert, especially the cheesecake, is a perfect way to end the meal.

Second time for us and as memorable as the first time. Amazing food, great service and such great value for a Michelin restaurant. We had Octopus, Duck and lamb. All superb.

The setting is beautiful with a Mountain View. The restaurant itself has a charming interior. We had tbe 9 course vegetarian menu for one and the a regular 9 course menu too. All the food was prepared and seasoned to perfection. The staff were very friendly and informative and a each course arrived at a good pace.

Service was on spot. Food was very creative, nicely presented and most dishes were a 10 for us (delicious). Wine pairing could improve a little bit.

Excellent! We had the saut&eacute;ed mushrooms with raw egg yolk, special leek salad with tuna, grilled anchovies with pimentos and the chicken wings. Loved them all. Wonderful service too and value for money.

The coffee was good.  The fresh squeezed orange juice was good.  The smoked salmon was also good.  The waitress was busy washing dishes much of the time.  The food was pretty bad.  The bagels were not fresh and strangely, about one third of both my bagel and that of my husband were hard as rock.  we hoped for a nice suite to accompany our coffee after our sandwich. The carrot cake was OK but the banana bread had not been fully cooked and the batter was still wet inside the middle. It was revolting.

This place is a hidden gem! The sea bream was spectacular, and the service was friendly and efficient. It&#39;s a bit pricey, but the quality of the food and the views make it worth it.

Wonderful restaurant setting and food courses. Very clever from the kitchen, although some more information about each course in writing on a menu would be really helpful. We had the top tasting menu with wines pairings. The sequencing and flow of each course either wines was slightly chaotic, suggesting the team may have been short staffed. Sommelier was very knowledgable and friendly.The ambience was somewhat spoilt as the dining space was not busy, but fully lit rather than being more softly lit. Although the sunset and then the view over San Sebasti&aacute;n was stunning, you are looking at a reflection of a half empty very white dining room in the glass windows! I&rsquo;m sure with some thought this could be much improved

Our server was extremely friendly, the food was extremely fresh and delicious and the value was excellent.  Add all that to a great harbor location and you can&#39;t lose.

Really enjoyed this restaurant and food. The service was so good, translating and, explaining each of the options in courses. They did not disappoint, the food was superb, surpassing my expectations. Really friendly restaurant and the music unexpectedly made the night for us.

Lovely meal in a pleasant location. Meat was excellent, if slightly underdone even for a medium rare meat lover! But as the taste was great, we were still satisfied and would definitely return, maybe in summer?

The food at this restaurant is truly exceptional, with each dish showcasing high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. The homemade fried potatoes and the lasagna were particularly memorable, reminiscent of a Michelin-starred experience.

If you&rsquo;ve traveled to Tolosa you have already made an effort to get to this restaurant.Like us you may have seen it on an episode of remarkable food ( something like that), on to.Well I&rsquo;ll make this quick. If you like steak, good wine and a rustic and authentic restaurant this is the place for you. The steak( veggies/vegans not welcome) is absolutely sublime. We reserved our table a year ago, and were rewarded with a seat right by the charcoal grill. So as well as the fantastic food we could see the grill man working and carving the steak. So food, theatre, and fabulous staff. A real treat for the senses. Some idiots say it&rsquo;s expensive, we&rsquo;ll add the whole lot up and I beg to disagree!

Small setting outside patio overlooking forest, the menu was somewhat limited but the quality was excellent. Our service was excellent. We had a problem getting a taxi and the owner took us back to the Hotel

Kindness of owners and staff, wonderful food, innovative menu and locally sourced dishes.  Beautiful setting. Note: For those that do not speak Spanish or Basque, be careful to observe parking signs, the left rear parking lot on left is NOT for patrons of the restaurant!

The food and service were the best we&rsquo;ve had in Spain!  The tasting menu offered a wide variety of delicious dishes and we enjoyed all of them immensely. The staff was extremely attentive to our daughters&rsquo; allergies while carefully explaining each course. We would definitely return to Da Filippo!
