Stopped in for a quick lunch. The turkey sandwich was really fresh, you could tell the ingredients were just prepped. The lettuce was crisp and the bread tasted like it was baked today. A solid, healthy option when you're nearby.

Been coming here for years. Their house-roasted beans are solid, and they switch up the roasts pretty often. Had a drip coffee today, nice and strong with a good chocolate note. It's my usual spot.

The empanadas are so filling for a quick bite. I love how fast they come out, it's just what you need when you're rushing. A solid spot to grab something and go.

The croissant was the star. Flaky, buttery layers that shattered perfectly with each bite. Not too sweet, just a hint of salt. The texture was spot-on. That's the kind of simple pastry I look for.

Solid spot for a cold one. The beer garden's huge, tons of taps to pick from. Service is quick, no waiting around. Gets pretty loud when they have live music, but the energy's usually good. My go-to when I'm nearby.

Lardon’s a solid spot in Logan Square. Stopped by for lunch and got their sandwich — simple but really good. Cocktails looked nice too. Feels like a reliable neighborhood place.

I come here for the coffee, it's always fresh and smooth. Love that they use organic beans. The atmosphere is quiet, good for reading. Nice local art too.

The lavender latte here is really smooth. I'm usually picky about my coffee, but they use Vietnamese Robusta beans and it works. The condensed milk coffee is solid too. Place gets busy but still has a nice vibe.

I love that the bartenders here really listen. I asked for a dealer's choice, something with mezcal, and they made a drink just for me. You can tell they care about the ingredients and balance. It felt very thoughtful.

The drinks are always well-made, which I appreciate. I stopped by during the morning rush and the service was still quick. I really focus on the quality of ingredients, and their fresh-pressed juices are a highlight for me.

Nice spot to work. The sofas are comfortable, and the coffee is solid. Pastry was fresh. It’s quiet enough to focus. Good for a couple of hours with a laptop.

Been grabbing the turkey club here for years when I fly out. It’s always fresh, never soggy. The green juice is a nice touch too. Just a solid, reliable spot in the terminal.

Corner Bakery Cafe downtown. Grabbed a quick lunch, the turkey avocado sandwich was fresh. Their iced tea selection is surprisingly good, pairs well with the lighter fare. A comfortable spot for a casual bite.

Tight squeeze inside, but we snagged a table on the sidewalk. The grilled octopus was the star—tender, smoky, with a perfect char. That alone made the trip. Inside felt a bit cramped for a long meal, but outside was just right.

Even on a packed Saturday, the staff was impressively efficient. The breakfast sandwich was a standout, and they had a nice selection of morning cocktails to pair with it.

My go-to spot outside the city. The lavender coffee and almond croissant are solid, but that quiche? The flavor really lingers in a good way. Says a lot about how they make things here.

Love the upstairs area for getting work done. So much natural light, and never have to hunt for an outlet. The wifi is solid, which is a huge plus.

The croissant donut and apple fritter were fantastic, and the coffee was great too. But the real standout for me was the space itself. It’s got this bright, airy feel with big windows and simple wooden tables. Just a really nice, calm spot to enjoy a pastry.

The monkey lamps are so cool! 🐒 Coffee was good, sandwiches were tasty but a bit pricey.
