Tried the oyster and the chef's menu — pretty unique stuff, not the usual fare you see around. Staff actually knew what they were talking about, which was a nice change. Place had a good vibe too. Maybe a bit on the pricey side, but I left satisfied.

Good tapas spot in Vlissingen. Tortilla and queso de cabra were solid, portions fair for the price. Service was quick and friendly.

The five-course menu here was solid — the venison stood out, and I appreciated that they had a proper vegetarian option. Ingredients tasted fresh, which matters to me. Service was friendly, though nothing fancy.

The cheesy pizza was spot on, and they poured a decent glass of red to go with it. Service was quick too. Maybe a bit noisy, but I'd stop by again for a casual bite.

This cozy pizzeria is a must-visit for pizza lovers. The dough is excellent, and the traditional recipes make for a delightful meal in a charming setting.

Cozy spot, felt like a proper little Mexican place. Tacos were fresh and homemade, exactly what I needed for a quick bite. Margarita was solid too. Just wish the cocktail list had more options.

The service was excellent, and the food was top-notch. I highly recommend trying the espresso martini made at the table; it was a highlight of the evening!

The fries were honestly the best part — crispy and well salted. Steak was a bit chewy for what we paid, though. Fine for drinks, maybe not for a full dinner.

Been coming here for a while now and the BBQ chicken pizza still hits the spot. Staff remembers me, always quick, even hooks me up with the bigger slice. Student deal keeps it cheap enough to grab on the regular. Place gets busy but they keep it moving.

The catering at this business reception really stood out — came all the way from Amsterdam and it was spot on. Nice setting for that kind of event too.

The dry-aged beef was the highlight—really well done. Cool spot with that open view of the aging room, felt pretty modern inside. Just wish the starters had a bit more punch.

Stopped by for cocktails and ended up staying longer than planned. Drinks were solid, vibe was chill. Food was okay—nothing crazy, but fine for snacking. One dish had a small issue and they took it off the bill without me even asking. That was cool. Probably come back just for the bar and some finger food.

Stopped by for brunch and honestly the shrimp croquettes were the highlight. Crispy outside, creamy inside. The rabbit stew was decent too, rich flavor but a bit heavy for midday. Open kitchen adds a nice vibe, place looks well put together. Would come back for the croquettes alone.

The waffles were spot on, crispy outside and soft inside. Mussels were decent too. Staff knew their wine, no complaints there.

Stopped by for dinner since it’s inside Hotel Nelson—super easy to find. The space is split into a lounge, dining area, and buffet corner, which felt a bit scattered but fine. Menu’s pretty small though, not as many options as the photos online suggest. Kept it simple and ordered something basic. Decent for a quick bite if you’re staying here, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

The Gruyère beignets were honestly the highlight—crispy, melty, just really well done. I also had the young chicken and it was super tender. Portions are generous for the price, which I didn’t expect. Staff were patient with us since we didn’t speak Dutch, so that was nice. Maybe a bit busy around 7pm, but worth it.

The tasting menu had some really creative flavors, though a couple plates were on the smaller side. Loved the room too, such a pretty space. Staff were nice when they came by.

Stopped by for a quick lunch on Lippenslaan — service was fast, friendly. Had the stoofvlees, proper Belgian comfort. The place itself is small but warm, the kind of spot you don’t overthink. Just decent food, no fuss. Maybe not a destination, but fine if you’re nearby.

Tried the set menu last week. The special was the standout—nice to see something different mixed in with the classics. Portions are decent, not huge, but fair for the price. Service was fine, kept it simple. Place was a bit busy but that's a good sign. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

The truffle carpaccio was solid—thin slices, decent flavor. Cotoletta alla Milanese came out crispy and well-seasoned. Place is small, so you get that intimate vibe without trying. Hostess knew the menu well, pointed me toward the right stuff. Service was efficient, no waiting around. Fair for what you pay.

The roasted duck with cashew and vegetables was the highlight. Crispy skin, tender meat, that rich sauce just pulled everything together. Service was quick too, didn't have to wait long. Place was a bit warm inside though, could've used more air. Still, I'd come back for that duck. 🦆

The pitas here are really fresh, and I liked that there were proper vegetarian options. The homemade lemonade was a nice touch too. Staff were kind and helpful, which always makes things easier. Only thing is it can get a bit busy around lunch, but it was fine once we ordered.

The margaritas were really good, and the staff actually took time to explain the menu. Nice touch with the mezcal at the end.

Small Italian spot, hostess actually remembers you. Pasta was solid, came out hot. Cozy enough for a weeknight dinner. Nothing fancy, but it works.

Nice restaurant, with friendly staff and tasty food (we tried the stew and the ribs, and both were delicious)!
