Been coming here for a while now and the BBQ chicken pizza still hits the spot. Staff remembers me, always quick, even hooks me up with the bigger slice. Student deal keeps it cheap enough to grab on the regular. Place gets busy but they keep it moving.

The catering at this business reception really stood out — came all the way from Amsterdam and it was spot on. Nice setting for that kind of event too.

Stopped by for cocktails and ended up staying longer than planned. Drinks were solid, vibe was chill. Food was okay—nothing crazy, but fine for snacking. One dish had a small issue and they took it off the bill without me even asking. That was cool. Probably come back just for the bar and some finger food.

Stopped by for brunch and honestly the shrimp croquettes were the highlight. Crispy outside, creamy inside. The rabbit stew was decent too, rich flavor but a bit heavy for midday. Open kitchen adds a nice vibe, place looks well put together. Would come back for the croquettes alone.

The waffles were spot on, crispy outside and soft inside. Mussels were decent too. Staff knew their wine, no complaints there.

Stopped by for dinner since it’s inside Hotel Nelson—super easy to find. The space is split into a lounge, dining area, and buffet corner, which felt a bit scattered but fine. Menu’s pretty small though, not as many options as the photos online suggest. Kept it simple and ordered something basic. Decent for a quick bite if you’re staying here, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

The tasting menu had some really creative flavors, though a couple plates were on the smaller side. Loved the room too, such a pretty space. Staff were nice when they came by.

Stopped by for a quick lunch on Lippenslaan — service was fast, friendly. Had the stoofvlees, proper Belgian comfort. The place itself is small but warm, the kind of spot you don’t overthink. Just decent food, no fuss. Maybe not a destination, but fine if you’re nearby.

Tried the set menu last week. The special was the standout—nice to see something different mixed in with the classics. Portions are decent, not huge, but fair for the price. Service was fine, kept it simple. Place was a bit busy but that's a good sign. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

The truffle carpaccio was solid—thin slices, decent flavor. Cotoletta alla Milanese came out crispy and well-seasoned. Place is small, so you get that intimate vibe without trying. Hostess knew the menu well, pointed me toward the right stuff. Service was efficient, no waiting around. Fair for what you pay.

The pitas here are really fresh, and I liked that there were proper vegetarian options. The homemade lemonade was a nice touch too. Staff were kind and helpful, which always makes things easier. Only thing is it can get a bit busy around lunch, but it was fine once we ordered.

Small Italian spot, hostess actually remembers you. Pasta was solid, came out hot. Cozy enough for a weeknight dinner. Nothing fancy, but it works.

Came for a beer after the beach, stayed longer than planned. Local craft selection is solid, nothing fancy but well chosen. Prices are okay for being this close to the water. Way less packed than the other places around here, which honestly made it so much easier to relax. Just a chill spot to sit and watch people walk by.

The carrot cake here is legit. Had it last week and still thinking about it. Place is small, like cozy-small, but that's fine. Staff didn't make us feel rushed even with the kids making a mess. Only thing is it can get a bit crowded on weekends. But for the cake alone, I'd deal with it.
