The view really is the main reason to come here. We sat by the river and it was lovely, even though the food was just okay. Service felt a bit distracted that day, but honestly the scenery made up for it. I’d go back for the setting alone, maybe just for a drink next time.

A superb addition to the Madison Hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A good menu choice. Dishes were well presented and very tasty.

Came for dinner on a weekday, the place looks pretty plain from the outside but inside it’s actually quite cozy. Food was well plated and tasted fresh. Prices felt fair for the quality. Only thing—the chairs got a bit uncomfortable after an hour.

Stopped by for coffee and a slice of apple cake. Cake was solid, not too sweet, coffee did the job. Place is small but fine for a quick break. Staff was friendly enough. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but I didn't mind.

Burger was okay. Not bad, but I've definitely had better ones in Hamburg. It's fine if you're in the area and don't want to walk far. Bun was a bit dry maybe. Can't say I'd go out of my way for it again, but it did the job for a quick lunch.

Coffee’s solid, croissants are probably the best I’ve had in Hamburg. Had a quiche too, tasty. Cakes looked good but a bit pricey for the size. Quick stop, no fuss. Fine for a fast bite if you’re nearby.

Been coming here for a while now. The food stays consistent, which is honestly the main reason I keep going back. Had the schnitzel again last time, still good. Service is friendly too, nothing over the top, just solid. Place gets busy around 7, so come a bit earlier if you want a quiet table.

The Christmas brunch spread was solid—reindeer, goose, oysters, pasta. Wine kept coming without asking. Food was the highlight, no complaints there.

The atmosphere is lovely and the staff is very friendly, creating a welcoming dining experience.

The cheesecake was properly creamy, not too sweet. Homemade lemonade hit the spot too. Place is small but cozy, good for a slow afternoon.

Tried their burger and fries for the first time — the fries were honestly the highlight. Cozy spot, staff left us alone until we needed them. Would come back if I'm nearby.

The schnitzel here was honestly the best I had in Hamburg. Got it with fried onions and mushrooms on top—definitely the right call. Portion was huge, I couldn’t even finish it. Kind of a random spot but perfect for a casual dinner with friends. Would come back just for that dish 😊

Decent spot right by the harbor. Burger was solid, fish cooked well. Service friendly but a bit slow. Terrace is nice though.

Been coming here for a while now, and the old gasworks setting still gets me every time. Menu's short, but the food's consistently good. Service was okay, not super attentive, but it didn't ruin anything. Just a solid spot I keep going back to.

This is a must in Hamburg - so good food and the service was outstanding !!!!!

This place is definitely a gem for Mexican food lovers! The flavors are authentic and the prices are reasonable for the quality.

This steakhouse truly lives up to its reputation! The steaks are grilled to perfection, and the service is always friendly and attentive. A must-visit for steak lovers!

The grilled salmon was fresh and flaky, exactly what I needed. Slightly pricey for the neighborhood, but the quality made up for it.

The burgers hold up well—juicy, fresh ingredients, no complaints. Philly cheese steak was the better pick though. Solid option if you're nearby and don't want to overthink lunch. Service was efficient, got my food without much waiting. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

The crispy duck curry was the highlight for me—so good I almost ordered a second portion. Sat outside on the patio, which was really nice in the afternoon sun. Staff were friendly enough, though it did take a bit to get the bill. Would come back for that curry alone.

Great value for money with a creative menu! The wine selection is impressive and more affordable than nearby options, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal.

Decent spot for trdelnik if you're nearby. Had the sweet one, dough was fresh and warm. Service stayed friendly even when the line built up. Not the cheapest, but fine for what you get. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

Been coming here for a while now. The hostess still remembers my order, and the food always tastes fresh. Cozy place to grab a relaxed dinner.

The poutine looked amazing, huge portion too. But the sauce was a bit too salty for me to finish. Everything else tasted properly homemade though.

Came here on a Sunday, place had a good buzz. Sat at the bar, had a beer, watched the street action. Nothing fancy, just a solid spot to hang out for an hour. Service was quick enough, prices fair. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're in the area, it does the job.

The potato bowl I got was really fresh—greens still crisp, avocado actually ripe. I asked for vegan and they handled it without any fuss. Portion felt fair for the price. Only thing, the bowl came a bit lukewarm, would've liked it hotter. But for a quick lunch, it does the job.

The fish burger’s still my go-to here. Flaky pollock, plenty of sauce, and a solid size for the price. Maybe slightly messy, but that’s part of it. Been back a few times now and it holds up.

The waffles here are solid — the herbs in the dough make them taste a bit different, and it actually works with the savory stuff. I had one with cheese and it held up well, not soggy. Place was a bit cramped though, hard to find a comfortable spot if you're staying longer. Still, worth grabbing a quick bite.

Been coming here for a while now. The food stays consistent, which is honestly the main reason I keep returning. Last visit, the line was long but they handled it well, kept people informed. By the time we finished, it was even busier outside. Still worth it. Just wish they had a bit more seating inside.
