The ice cream is so creamy, I had to get a second scoop. They also do cakes and hot food until early afternoon, which is a nice option. Prices are fair for what you get.

The chicken selects were spot on, really crispy and juicy. The sour cream and chive dip was a great match. Table service is a nice touch, makes it feel a bit more relaxed than the usual counter order.

The sticky toffee pudding is so good, it's become my go-to dessert here. Staff are lovely and it's easy to hop on a bus to get to.

The full English was cooked just right. The house ale was a solid pairing, though the coffee could be a bit stronger.

Quick lunch spot, perfect for a fast bite. Their pepperoni pizza is always hot and ready in minutes. Staff is friendly, makes the whole process smooth. A bit pricey for the size, but the speed is worth it.

Stopped for an ice cream in the village square. The compostable cup was a nice touch. Just sat on a bench and watched people go by for a bit. Simple and good.

Coffee's decent, but the place itself feels a bit worn out. My chair was wobbly, and the whole vibe just needs a refresh. ☕

Popped in for a Sunday roast on a whim. Sat outside, which was lovely. The roast beef was spot on, really tender. Decent pint selection too. Bit of a wait for the food, but worth it on a sunny afternoon.

Had a decent breakfast here. The sausages were pretty good, and everything on the plate was cooked fine. A solid spot for a morning meal.

Been coming here for years, and the value's still there. You get a solid meal and a pint without that sting in your wallet. It's just reliable.

I popped in for a sandwich after a lakeside walk. The bread was clearly fresh, and the fillings were generous with crisp greens. It's nice to see a focus on quality ingredients. The sandwich was quite filling, which was perfect.

Had a nice breakfast here. Mohammed was really kind to our son, gave him some sweets and colouring books. He even showed us his little salt and pepper shaker collection, which was a sweet touch. The cakes on display looked pretty good.

Gluten-free options that actually taste good! Got the GF burger and it was solid. Quick service too, perfect for a lunch break.

The salted caramel gelato was really good, but I was surprised by the portion size for the price. It's a small scoop in a pretty basic cup. Tastes great, just wish there was a bit more for what you pay.

Stopped in after a riverside walk. Got a cappuccino and a couple of their croissants. Coffee was solid, and the pastries were fresh. Nice little spot for a quick pick-me-up.

Lovely spot for a quiet coffee. The outside seating is perfect when it's sunny, and they're so welcoming to dogs. Staff are friendly without being overbearing. Just a really warm, relaxed vibe.

Took the short walk from town centre. Scampi and fishcakes were a nice change from the usual. Fishcakes had a good texture, not too dense. Decent portion for the price.

The team was so nice about my app order running a bit late. They even threw in a little extra dip for the wait, which was a sweet touch. No stress at all.

Service was spot on. They were friendly, kept us in the loop about the wait, and the sommelier had a great suggestion for a red to go with our steaks. Made the wait feel shorter.

Loved the vibe here, really cosy and relaxed. The French toast was delicious, just the right amount of sweetness. A nice spot to unwind for a bit.

Loved the courtyard entrance, so inviting. A nice spot for lunch after the castle.

The staff here are always so friendly and helpful. They remember our names and what the kids like to order. The play area keeps the little ones busy for ages, which is a lifesaver for us parents.

Great coffee selection and beans to buy. The historic building is a nice touch, but the seating is a bit tight for a business meeting.

Naga Jalfrezi with lamb was spot on, just the right heat. Keema naan was fresh and piping hot. Loved watching the chefs in the open kitchen, really adds to the vibe. A solid meal.

Been coming here for years. The fish is always fresh, chips are proper crispy. Prices haven't really gone up much either. Just a solid, reliable chippy.

Our go-to spot for catching up with friends. The food is always solid, and the drinks are spot on. Service is friendly and quick, so we never feel rushed. Just a really reliable place for a group.

The salt and pepper squid was the star for me - perfectly crispy and not greasy at all.

Came here twice last week, which says it all. The lamb shank was rich and fell off the bone. Their wine list is well-curated – the Malbec was a great match for the dish. Staff are genuinely friendly. A solid spot.
