Had an early dinner by the window. The food arrived on hot plates, which was a nice touch. What stood out for me was how fresh the ingredients tasted, especially in the salad. A really relaxed, simple meal.

A chilled spot with really nice staff. Their loose leaf tea selection was impressive, and I had a pot with the Eggs Benedict - a solid pairing. The cakes on display looked fantastic, though I was too full to try one this time.

Nice spot if you're bringing a dog. They handled our big group with several pets pretty well. The outdoor area was fine for them. Food was decent, though a bit on the pricey side.

The food is fresh and tasty, perfect for a light lunch. The booths are comfortable and the staff are friendly. A nice, relaxed spot.

The team here were so lovely with my friend's gluten-free request. They really took the time to make sure everything was right for her, which made our catch-up feel extra relaxed. The wine was a nice touch too.

Came here for a drink on a summer evening. The food is made to a very high standard, had a lovely small plate. A nice, relaxed spot to unwind.

The fish cakes were tasty, and the red curry had a nice, authentic spice to it. Sticky rice was cooked perfectly.

Stumbled on this spot during a wander through Ripon. The seafood pasta was spot on, tasted just like I remember from Italy. Huge portion too – my friend and I ended up sharing one. Nice to find somewhere you can actually have a proper chat over dinner.

Been coming here for years, and that butterfly pea drink is still the one thing I always order. It's just so refreshing, especially on a warm day. Not something you find in many places around here.

Came with a big group and the space was perfect for it. Really liked the high ceilings and the way the tables were spread out, didn't feel cramped at all. All our food came out together and hot, which was a bonus.

Had the Sunday roast here. The beef portion was huge, honestly couldn't finish it all. They boxed up the leftovers for us, which was a nice touch. For the price, you definitely get a lot.

Booked ahead and glad we did. The lady who served us was so friendly, took time to explain all the spices they use. Really appreciated that chat. The prawn dish we tried was spot on.

The butter chicken had a lovely nutty finish. What really stood out was how comfortable the seating was - spacious booths and no rush to turn tables. A relaxed spot for a proper meal.

First time trying African and Caribbean food here. The sauces made the meat really tender, and the portions were generous. A pleasant surprise.

The waitstaff were so sweet with my little nephews, kept them entertained with little jokes. They even brought extra napkins without asking. Made the whole lunch much easier for us adults!

The team here is so nice, they actually remembered my name from last time. Feels like a proper local spot, not just another restaurant.

Lovely clean space. Service was spot on from the minute we walked in, which really put us at ease. A comfortable, easy dinner.

The portion sizes here are generous, and the drink list is solid. Got the fish and chips - crispy batter, decent chips. Service was friendly without being overbearing. A good spot for a casual meal.

Modern and classy inside, but still feels cosy. Perfect for a proper catch-up with friends - we stayed for ages chatting even when it got busy. The noise level was just right, you could actually hear each other!

The mezzanine is a nice touch, feels a bit more private than the main floor. Sat by the front window, good for people-watching. The space itself is cozy, stylish enough.

The breakfast was cooked to order, which I appreciate. Quality ingredients, a solid start to the day.

Late night takeaway is the only reason I come here. The chicken katsu curry is solid. The sauce has a decent depth of flavour and the cutlet stays crispy even in the box. A bit more rice would be nice, but it hits the spot when you're starving at 1am.

Booked them for our wedding. The whole planning bit was actually pretty chill, no drama. The lamb canapés were a total hit - saw so many guests going back for seconds!

The staff are so friendly, and the owner came over for a little chat. It's a small thing, but it makes the whole experience feel more relaxed and personal. A very comfortable spot for a quiet meal.

Staff were friendly and made space for us even though it was busy. A decent spot with a relaxed vibe, and they’re dog-friendly which is nice. The food was pretty good, though the service was a touch slow.

First visit. The set menu's a steal at £30 for three courses. Food tasted properly homemade. Service was attentive, and they had a decent wine list that paired well with the rustic dishes. A solid spot.

The staff were so friendly, which made the evening really pleasant. I appreciated the little complimentary mint chocolate at the end. It does get very busy, so booking ahead is a must.

The food was lovely and the prices felt fair. We arrived near closing time, but the staff were so welcoming and polite, which made the whole visit really pleasant.

Been coming here for years, and the food's always been spot on. Even when they're packed, the kitchen doesn't miss a beat. That's why I keep coming back. Just remember to book ahead, it's the only way to guarantee a seat.

Stopped by on a Saturday, fully booked but they offered me a seat for just a coffee and ginger loaf. The loaf was so fresh, you could really taste the real ginger. A lovely, cosy spot.
