The live music was a nice touch, really added to the vibe. Saw a few older couples dancing and a group of students singing along. It felt like a proper, buzzing Friday night out.

Loved the tapas, especially the patatas bravas and gambas al ajillo. Perfectly seasoned, good size for sharing. The main course was just okay, nothing special. But the buzz in the place was great, really enjoyed the vibe.

First time here, and it was a lovely evening. The lighting was soft and calming, which made the whole experience feel very relaxed. I’ll be back for sure.

Been coming for years. Still the best spot for a chilled pint and a chat, always a good mix of people.

Service was prompt and professional. They handled a last-minute booking change without any fuss. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Good to see a place that gets the basics right.

Really appreciate the freshness of the ingredients here. Had the grilled salmon salad for lunch and the greens were crisp, the fish tasted just-cooked. It's a reliable spot for a light, healthy meal. The happy hour prices are a nice bonus.

The staff were so lovely with our dog, brought out a bowl of water straight away. There's a nice walk right across the road too, perfect for a stretch. Our room had a comfy dog bed ready, which was a nice touch.

Staff were on it even when the place was packed. Felt looked after without being crowded.

The cocktail pitchers are a solid deal. They're cheaper than the big chain pubs nearby, and the drinks are decent. Good for a casual night out.

Been coming here for years, and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. Ordered the pad thai again last night, and it was exactly as I remember—same generous portion, same rich flavour. That kind of reliability is hard to find.

Came for the Grinch breakfast event, they handled a packed pub of kids brilliantly. My full English was spot on. The real highlight was their house bloody mary - a proper kick, really made the morning. The Grinch himself was a riot with the little ones.

Perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink, right by the Town Hall. We had a lovely glass of red on the terrace before heading off. The wine list was decent, a good selection by the glass. A bit pricey for the area, but you're paying for that central location.

Staff were friendly and attentive. The on-street parking nearby was a plus. The restaurant is also accessible for those with mobility needs.

Nice little spot. The old music and beach photos on the walls give it a proper relaxed vibe. Had the fish and chips here last Friday, the batter was light and crispy. Good for a quiet meal.

The mega mixed grill was pretty good. The meat was decently tender, and the peppercorn sauce was nice. It was a solid meal, though the portion felt a bit smaller than expected for the price.

The sticky toffee sundae was the star for me. The warm, gooey sauce with the cold ice cream was just right. We tried a few of the small plates too, decent variety for the price.

The game pie is the reason I come back. The crust is flaky, the filling is rich with venison and rabbit, not dry at all. It's a proper, hearty portion. The burger is decent, but the pie is what they do best.

Lunch was a solid 7/10. The warm bread was a lovely touch, and the beef fillet was cooked just right – really tasty. The pork loin was a bit plain for my taste, but I'd come back for that beef any day.

Always book ahead! It was packed when we got there, and we only just squeezed in. Had to eat a bit quickly as they needed the table back. Still, a fun spot for a catch-up with mates.

The wine list is really well-curated and changes with the seasonal menu. Staff knew exactly what to recommend with the scallops.

Popped in for lunch with friends last week. We all got the salmon special with prawns and veg - the creamy sauce was spot on. Good for sharing a few plates and a catch-up. Might be back when I'm next in Bowness.

Food came out quick and tasted good. Had the pasta and a couple of small plates, decent variety and prices were fair. Solid spot for a casual bite.

The soup was a proper homemade job, really hit the spot on a damp day. My only gripe? The wine list is a bit limited for a place that does such solid, rustic food. The pinot noir I had was fine, just a bit simple. Still, the wrap was spot on.

Been coming here for years, and the dog biscuit is a nice touch. Our spaniel always gets one, makes it feel like a proper local. Tables are always clean, staff are friendly. It’s just a reliable spot.

Ordered late, they were still open. The place was spotless, which really hit the spot on a rainy night. Food was solid, no complaints. Just appreciated the clean, bright space when everywhere else felt a bit grim.

The team here is lovely, they really make the place. That's why we keep coming back to this Nando's.

Just popped in for a pint after they opened. Had the place to myself, which was quiet. Bartender was a friendly chap, happy to chat. The ale was spot on, really well-kept. A proper local feel.

They added a little birthday touch for our table, which was a nice surprise. The dessert with the candle was a sweet gesture. Honestly, the portion sizes for the price are what really stood out to me. You get a lot for what you pay here.

Loved the cozy vibe and wine list. The small plates were a nice surprise, especially the seafood ones.
