Nice little place, tea and cakes were good. Chocolates looked tempting too. Mostly locals grabbing takeaway, only a couple tables inside. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Been coming here for years—still the best kebab in Reykjavík. Meat’s always fresh, and the staff actually fixed the vending machine at 2am once. That stuck with me.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and a pastry. Cappuccino was a bit bitter that day—dark roast beans. Not bad, just not what I expected. The sweet dessert balanced it out though. Service was fast, which is all I really needed. Fine spot for a quick break.

The Margherita pizza was spot on—light, airy crust, just like a proper Neapolitan one. You can tell they care about the dough. Only wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but the food made up for it.

Stopped by for a whiskey and ended up staying longer than planned. Solid selection—bourbon, single malts, plenty to pick from. Bartender knew what they were talking about and pointed me to something I hadn’t tried before. Live music upstairs was a nice bonus, though it got a bit loud near the bar. Good spot if you’re into whiskey.

No. 9 of Bars in Reykjavik

Came in right before closing and they were still super friendly. Got a sugar-free cone with tons of toppings—pretty solid selection. Plenty of seating too, which was nice.

Stopped here after Blue Lagoon. Had the fish of the day. Best fish I had in Iceland, honestly. Price was fair too. Place feels real, not touristy.

Great pizza spot for hanging out with friends - the crust was super crispy and portions were generous for the price 🍕

Stopped by for a small scoop and ended up with two big ones. Strawberry and mango vegan flavors were fresh and light. Perfect after walking around all day. Right next to Center Hotels Plaza, easy to find.

Stopped by after a swim at the pool nearby. Burger was solid—juicy patty, decent bun. Fries came out hot and crispy. No complaints for a quick bite. Service was fast, which I appreciated since I was still in my swim gear. Prices fair for the area. Would go back if I'm in the neighborhood.

Stumbled on this bakery by accident and now I'm kinda obsessed. The chilli grilled cheese with blue cheese is such a weird combo but it works so well. Also grabbed a chocolate cookie on the way out — soft in the middle, exactly how I like it. Opens early too, which is rare for this area.

Lobster soup was the move. Creamy, rich, actual chunks of lobster in there. Garlic bread on the side did the job. Solid pick if you're around. Nothing fancy, just good.

The burger was solid and the bun tasted really fresh. Fries portion was huge too, which I appreciated. Simple place, nothing fancy, but they get the basics right. For the price, I felt it was fair. Just wish the patty had a bit more seasoning, but overall a decent stop.

Came here on a busy afternoon and the line was long, but it went fast. Got a scoop of the salted caramel — creamy, not too sweet. Price was fair for the size, honestly bigger than I expected. Would've liked a bit more variety in flavors though. Still, solid stop if you're nearby.

The vegan options here are a real plus. I had the sweet potato and pickled mushroom sandwich—pretty good, and the free oat milk was a nice touch. Portions are generous, so come hungry. The pastries looked decent too, though I didn't get to try one. Coffee was fine. A solid stop if you're in the area.

The fish gratin skillet was the star—cheesy, rich, and the portion was honestly huge. Shrimp appetizer was solid too. Place was packed but we grabbed seats fast and food came quick. Maybe a bit loud for a chill dinner, but I'd go back for that gratin.

This restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience with a Michelin star vibe. The food is exceptional, especially the lobster and langoustine croquette, which were perfectly cooked and delicious.

The massaman curry was solid and the portion felt generous for the price. Cozy little spot, though the pad thai could've used a bit more flavor.

The fish and chips here really hit the spot. Batter was light, not greasy at all, and the fish inside was thick and flaky. I liked that they had a local beer on tap to go with it. Place was busy for lunch but we got a table quick enough. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Gluten-free options are actually decent here—not just a sad salad. I had the pavlova and it was properly crisp outside, soft inside. Asked the staff a few questions about ingredients and they knew their stuff without being rushed. Place was a bit busy but worth it for that dessert.

The old dairy conversion is really well done—high ceilings and that industrial-cool vibe make it easy to linger. Plenty of vendor choices too, so everyone can grab something different.

The fish and chips was spot on—light batter, flaky fish. Plokkfiskur had good seasoning too. Prices felt fair, lower than most places around.

The sauce bar is what keeps me coming back. Dozens of bottles, from mild to stuff that'll clear your sinuses. Tried the Louisiana butter garlic last time, solid choice. Staff pointed me to it when I looked lost. Place gets busy but that's fine. Just wish they had more seating sometimes.

The happy hour here is solid — good drinks and snacks, and the wine list beats most spots in town. Kitchen stays open late too. Upstairs in an old building, easy to miss. Would come back for the chef's table.

Pork adobo and lumpia were solid. Lamb shank was the better pick though. Place felt warm inside, service kept it moving. No complaints for a quick bite.
