The lamb soup here is what keeps me coming back. Deep, rich broth, chunks of meat that actually taste like something. Had it last week and still thinking about it. It's not cheap, but the bowl is generous. Skip everything else if you want, just get the soup.

The pastries here are seriously good—I grabbed a cinnamon roll and it was still warm. Coffee’s solid too, not too bitter. Place has this laid-back feel that makes you want to stay a bit longer than planned. Only thing is it got a little crowded by mid-morning, but that’s probably a good sign.

Almond croissant was solid. Filling melty, not too sweet. That's the move here. Cappuccino came out a bit thin, but whatever. Pastry alone makes it worth stopping in.

The langoustine soup was the standout. Warm Parker rolls with herb butter on the side were solid too. Service was quick and knew their stuff. Good stop for a fast dinner.

The QR code allergen menu was a lifesaver — made ordering so easy with my food allergies. Sweet and sour dish hit the spot too.

Lovely spot for a catch-up with friends, though a bit pricey. The desserts were the perfect ending. 🍰

Popped in for coffee, stayed for the fish soup. So hearty on a cold day. The room had this quiet warmth that made me want to linger.

Lovely garden spot for a coffee and a quiet read. The waffles hit the spot, though the menu's pretty small. A glass of something crisp would've made it even better. Service was friendly enough.

Tempura curry was solid. Rich sauce, crispy batter, and the salad on the side cut through it nicely. Sushi plate was average, nothing special. But that curry hits the spot for a quick lunch. Place was busy but I got my food fast. Good enough for a stop if you're nearby.

Been coming here for a while now. The salad bar stays fresh and stocked every single time, which is why I keep going back. Price is fair too, especially for Reykjavik.

The bar area has this nice warm glow, wooden tables, not too loud. I sat by the window and the light was perfect for a slow afternoon. Fish and chips were solid, crispy batter, not greasy. The bartender picked a tasting for me that matched what I usually like. Only thing is the stools are a bit hard after an hour.

The lamb bowl hit the spot after a cold day out. Meat was tender, veggies still had some crunch. Portion felt generous for the price. I just wish the rice had been a bit warmer, but honestly the flavors carried it. Simple, filling, and fresh enough for me to feel good about eating there.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Staff were friendly, got my food fast. There's a kids' play area which is a nice touch if you've got little ones. Had the burger, it did the job. Nothing fancy but solid for a quick bite. Would come back if I'm in the area and short on time.

Service was quick and friendly even on a busy Friday night. The guy at the counter kept things moving smoothly, which I really appreciated. I didn't feel rushed at all, just well taken care of. It's nice to find a place where the staff actually seem to enjoy what they do. I'd happily stop by again.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Got the lamb dish, flavors were solid. Presentation looked nice too. Service was a bit slow, but the food came out hot. Probably the best meal I had in Iceland. Not fancy, just good. Would go back if I had more time in town.

The birria tacos were solid. That consommé had real depth, not the watered-down stuff you get most places. Tortilla chips were clearly homemade, still warm. Service was quick, no fuss. Only downside is the seating, a bit cramped for a business lunch. But for a quick, decent bite, it does the job.

Stopped by right before closing and they didn’t make me feel rushed at all. Food came out quick and fresh. Just a solid spot if you’re in the area and hungry. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Staff were on it—got my order fast, no fuss. Felt looked after the whole time, even when it got busy. Solid spot if you need a decent bite without the wait. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.

No. 5 of Bars in Reykjavik

Decent pizza for what it is. Dough tasted fresher than the Domino's back home, and the garlic sauce actually has some kick. Got the lunch deal, felt like fair value for the portion. Place was quiet when I stopped by, which was fine. Not going to rave about it, but it did the job.

The beetroot wellington was the star of the menu—really creative. Service was a bit slow at times, but the waiter made up for it by adjusting the bill.

The slow-cooked lamb in duck fat was the standout. Fork-tender, rich without being heavy. Kids' menu had rice pudding too, which was a nice touch. Place was busy but we got seated quick enough. Maybe slightly pricey for what you get, but the lamb alone makes it worth stopping in.

Solid burger and a decent happy hour. Live jazz was a nice touch without being too loud. Good spot if you want a casual night out without breaking the bank.

The fried chicken was properly juicy, not dry at all. Those little banana bites on the side were a sweet surprise I didn't expect. Nice balance between savory and sweet on the same plate. Good spot to come with a couple of friends, casual vibe. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

The vegan pizza was surprisingly good, lots of flavor. Upstairs got pretty loud with families though, so maybe grab a table downstairs if you want to chat.

The curry negroni was the one I kept thinking about after. Weird combo but it actually worked. Tipsy Queen was decent too.

Stopped by the food truck near the church. Lamb soup was proper hearty, hit the spot on a cold day. Burger was decent too. Nothing fancy but solid.

Happy hour is solid. 2-for-1 drinks, no catch. Got there early enough for a spot near the dartboard. Place fills up quick though. Good vibe if you're not looking for anything fancy.

The only Chinese spot in Reykjavik I keep going back to. Staff actually remember you, which is nice. Food's reliable—got the fried noodles last time, decent portion. Not mind-blowing, but solid for a weeknight. Place gets a bit busy around 7, but it's fine.
