Convenient spot inside Don Quijote. Got the lunch set, came out fast. Perfect for a quick bite between errands. A bit hard to find the entrance at first, but worth it for the speed.

The view at night is just stunning. Came here with a few friends for a chill catch-up, and the city lights were the perfect backdrop. They also brought out some complimentary seasonal fruit, which was a nice touch.

The drip coffee was great, you can pick how strong you want it! Perfect for catching up with a friend.

A bit off the beaten path, but that's the appeal. Found it while looking for a quick, real izakaya lunch. Had the Hakodate kaisen don. Fish was fresh, service was fast. Perfect for a quiet, efficient meal.

I was really impressed by how they served the tea. They brought out my two chosen teas in separate pots, each at the perfect time so I could enjoy the flavors fully. A nice touch.

The owner works alone and still gets the food out fast. The tonkatsu was crispy outside, tender inside, and the sauce had a nice tang.

Cozy spot, stylish inside. Full of locals, which is a good sign. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Made for a comfortable, efficient lunch.

I enjoyed a delightful breakfast at Matsumae, where the eel was prepared perfectly. The generous portions and local ingredients made it a memorable meal.

The gelato was just the right level of sweetness, not cloying at all. I really appreciated that. The pistachio flavor tasted so fresh and natural. A lovely, relaxed spot to enjoy a simple, quality treat.

The cold 100% buckwheat soba is the one to get. Good chew on the noodles, and the dipping broth is refreshing.

The tennis-themed decor here is quirky and fun, really adds character. Ordered the classic cheeseburger - the patty was juicy and cooked just right, but the bun got a bit soggy on the bottom. Solid spot for a casual bite.

The squid popo was incredible, honestly the best I've ever had. The whole vibe in there is so relaxed, with these warm wooden tables and soft lighting. I'd come back to Hakodate just for that dish and to hang out in that space again.

Friendly staff, and they were great with our little one. The English menu and tablet ordering made it easy. Quick service too. I had a nice glass of red with my meal, it was a good pairing.

The macarons were a nice surprise. I liked the local twist on a classic. The seats were comfortable, which made it easy to relax and enjoy my coffee and dessert. A very pleasant, low-key spot.

The tonkotsu ramen broth was rich and cloudy, just right. Noodles had a good chew. The chashu was tender but a bit lean for my taste. That's the main thing I remember.

A decent spot with a good rum selection, some harder-to-find bottles. The owner knows his stuff. The vibe is pretty relaxed. It's a fine place for a quiet drink.

The parking lot is small, so arriving by car was a bit of a hassle. But once inside, the atmosphere is so chic and relaxing. I had the handmade hamburger steak from the lunch menu – it was very comforting. A nice spot for a quiet, unhurried meal.
