The staff were really friendly. I had a coffee and a white chocolate muffin, which was nice. Just a small thing - our table wasn't quite wiped down when we got there, but it was sorted quickly. A comfortable spot for a quiet coffee.

Decent food for the price. Classic, no-frills spot. The fish and chips portion was generous, though the chips were a bit soft for my liking. Solid choice for a straightforward meal.

Been coming here for years, and their scones are the reason. Always warm, just crumbly enough, and they never skimp on the jam and clotted cream. That's what keeps me coming back.

Nice spot by the river. Popped in for a coffee and a scone. Scone was warm, jam was decent. Good for a quick stop, feels lively.

Found this place by accident. The Sardinian dumplings were fantastic, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. Still, a solid meal.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. The full English was solid - eggs were runny just how I like them, and the sausages had a nice snap. Good spot if you’ve got a dog with you.

The filter coffee here is a bit hit or miss. Had it last week and it was noticeably weaker than usual, lacked that proper punch. Still drinkable, just not their best brew.

I always stop by for my morning coffee. It's consistently good, and I appreciate that it doesn't cost a fortune. The space itself is really pleasant, which makes taking a moment to enjoy it feel easy. A solid, reliable spot.

Been coming here for years. The scones are always spot on, even if they're a bit pricey.

The decaf coffee here is freshly ground, not bitter at all. I'm pretty picky about that. For £3.50, it's a solid cup. Most places just serve that stale, burnt-tasting stuff. This one's actually good.

Loved the mussel and asparagus risotto here. It was creamy but the asparagus still had a nice bite to it. A proper Sicilian spot, service was quick too.

Came for the weekend breakfast. The mushrooms on toast were really tasty, I used the sourdough to get all the sauce. For what you get, the portion felt a bit small for the price though.

Coffee's fantastic, and they've got a nice selection of sweet stuff. Picked up a bag of their beans to take home too. Solid spot.

Stopped in for coffee and a slice of cake after my morning run. The coffee was strong and the cake was fresh, just what I needed. Staff are efficient and friendly. A reliable spot for a quick, decent bite.

The ice cream's texture is spot on, and the waffle cones are always fresh. Good variety of flavours too.

The birthday breakfast was just right. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the service was friendly without being overbearing.

Been coming here for years when I'm in town. That lasagne is the reason. The pasta sheets are perfectly tender, and the meat sauce has this rich, slow-cooked depth. The béchamel on top is just golden and creamy. It's the one I compare all others to.

Been coming here for years and the omelette is always spot on. Just the right amount of fluffy, never greasy. That's why I keep coming back.

Stopped in for a cuppa and a slice of cake during a walk along the front. Simple, clean spot. The cake was fresh and the tea hit the spot. Just what you need.

The corned beef pie was so good! The pastry was perfect, really flaky. My flat white was nice too. Just wish the side salad had a bit more going on, it was pretty plain. Still, a solid spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

A nice little spot inside the museum. The food was pretty good, and the service was decent. We got the scones to go, which was a nice touch. A solid choice for a light bite.

Popped in for some local cheeses. They had a lovely selection of jams and biscuits too. The real find was a small-batch cider from a nearby orchard – crisp and dry, perfect with the strong cheddar I picked up. A bit pricier than the supermarket, but you’re paying for quality.

Love the community vibe here. They run these socials and clubs, really makes it feel like a place where you can just connect with people. Found a bit of understanding, which was nice.

Been coming here for my morning coffee since day one. The latte is always spot on, and they have a decent selection of teas too.

Been coming here for years, and the pea and ham soup with a cheese scone is my go-to. It’s always exactly the same—warm, hearty, and just right for a quick bite. That kind of consistency is why I keep coming back.

Stopped in for a coffee and a pastry. The place just has a nice, cozy vibe, feels like a proper local spot. Staff were friendly, no rush. Good for a quiet moment.

Been coming here for years, and their gluten-free cakes are the reason. They always take the time to double-check the ingredients for me. It’s that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Really appreciate how clearly the veggie and gluten-free options are marked on the menu. Their veggie breakfast is a standout.
