We only came for dinner, not the hotel. The food was refined and I savored every bite. Lovely staff and a great spot for a special evening.

The garden terrace really is the spot when the weather cooperates—plenty of room and you can actually hear yourself think. Service lagged a bit on a busy Saturday, though the staff stayed cheerful about it. I had the spring rolls, which were solid but honestly a touch small for what they charge. A crisp white would've paired nicely with them, but their wine list is decent enough. I'd come back for the terrace alone.

The margherita here is what I keep thinking about. Simple, good char on the bottom, decent amount of sauce. Had a Peroni with it, that worked fine. Place is right in the center, easy to find. Crust could’ve been slightly saltier but honestly not a big deal. I’d order that pizza again.

Decent value for the money. Portions are generous and the menu's pretty extensive. Typical Italian decor, nothing fancy but fine.

Stopped by for a quick dinner — bus 20 drops you basically at the door, which is handy. Got the pasta and it was properly cooked, sauce had good depth. Service was fast, maybe a little too fast, felt a bit rushed. But for a casual meal near the station, it does the job.

Truffle steak was solid. Real Italian taste, not the usual Swiss stuff. Place was packed at lunch but still got my food fast. Service didn't mess around. Good spot if you need a quick bite and don't wanna wait forever.

Simple spot, friendly counter service. Pizza was solid and cooked right. Can't complain for the price.

Nice spot right by the Rathaus for a drink without crazy prices. Fries were seriously good, probably some of the best I've had lately. Service was friendly too.

Staff here are on it. Got my food fast even though the place was packed. Watched the match while I ate, no hassle. Solid spot for a quick bite if you're in the area. Just don't expect a quiet meal, it gets loud when the game's on.

Bigger inside than it looks. Multiple floors, even a kids' play corner. Lunch service was quick, which surprised me since it was packed. Had the Swiss-themed classic burger. Solid, nothing crazy but decent. Fine if you're in the area and want something easy.

Been coming here for a while now. The rotating bar still gets me every time, even after multiple visits. Staff’s always been helpful, no complaints there. It does get loud and a bit cold in winter, but for a casual drink, it’s fine. Just wish they’d turn the heat up a notch.

Cozy little place, easy to get to. Staff were friendly and the menu had enough options. Had a decent lunch there, nothing fancy but solid.

The pasta here is consistently excellent—easily some of the best I've had in Lucerne. The outdoor seating under the big trees is a lovely bonus.

Tried a bunch of dishes here and honestly, everything was solid. The menu has good variety, and the flavors were on point. Portions are decent too.

Panettone was really soft, smelled amazing. You can tell they use good stuff. Not the dry supermarket kind. Just wish the slice was bigger for the price. Solid spot if you're into proper Italian desserts.

I was impressed by the beautiful modern design of the restaurant and cafe. It creates a lovely atmosphere for enjoying meals.

Tons of screens everywhere, so you won’t miss any game. Pool tables and darts keep it lively. Fair prices for Basel, staff actually helps you find the match. Solid spot.

Great vegetarian Indian spot in Basel. Owner speaks English so ordering was easy. Food came out fast and tasted fresh. Solid choice if you're in the mood for pure veg.

The avocado and beetroot hummus toast was fresh, and that homemade bread made it. Prices run a bit high for a weekday lunch, but the quality's there. Weekend full English is on my list to try next.

Service was friendly and quick, no complaints there. Prices are fair for what you get, though portions could be a bit bigger for my taste. Had a decent casual lunch, nothing fancy but it hit the spot. I'd say it's a solid pick if you're in the area and don't want to overthink where to eat.

Great spot right by the station, super easy to grab a bite before meeting friends. I had the tartare with avocado wasabi—such a fun twist. Took me a sec to find it though, the entrance is a bit hidden 😅

The shaded garden really saved the afternoon—cool and quiet even with the lunch crowd. Ordered off the regular menu, no problem. Food came fast, maybe a little too fast, but fine. Only thing: the indoor smoking area is right there, so if you're sensitive to that, sit outside. Simple menu, decent pick.

We popped in for a coffee and ended up staying a few hours. The vibe is really relaxed, and I liked that I could just sit with my laptop without feeling rushed. Outdoor seating was a nice bonus. Food menu is small, but what we tried was tasty. Service was friendly and low-key, which I appreciate. Good spot if you want a quiet afternoon.

Gluten-free options and the allergen card are a nice touch. Brown rice veggie bowl was solid, though extra toppings push the price up a bit. Good spot for a quick, safe lunch.

The raclette was a whole experience—you melt the cheese yourself with potatoes, pickles, and apples. Staff didn't rush us while we figured it out.

Sushi was solid, menu’s got more variety than most places I’ve tried in Switzerland. That alone’s worth coming back for. One server seemed a bit off though, kinda rushed us at the end. Didn’t ruin the meal, just noticeable. Prices are fair for what you get. I’d probably sit at the counter next time.
